As others have said though, I don't think classic Mega Man will show up though.  the style looks pretty dark and gritty.  My bet is on X or Zero personally.  And not MMZ Zero.  The art style in that is just as cutesy as classic and wouldn't fit for the same reason.

But we all know Roll will be there.  She's always there.  She's the Ryu of Street Fighter of Mega Man in Fighting games.

Maybe they just used that style to let ppl know a MvC3 is coming? And a differant style in the real game? I hope?

Well, from reading from other sites, it looks like Capcom is showing more love to MML since there a Servebot stage in MvC3, so it LOOKS like X is getting the boot, I hope am wrong tho.

Honestly, I want Mega Man X in instead of Zero.  Only because X has never had any appearances in other games (Aside from Capcom Card SNK). 

Then take out Trigger.  But X Zero is god Tier for a fighter.  I don't want a character who hasn't been in a fighter just to have him in, I want a solid fighter, and to be frank, Zero is MUCH better than X for that.

Deadpool confirmed.  AND HE HITS YOU WITH HIS OWN LIFE BAR!  This game confirmed for GOD TIER.  That alone makes this a purchase for me.  The only  way this is going to suck is if the Mega Man character is MMZ/ZX/SF related.  Though I'd prefer no BN.

If this ends up with MMX Zero and Phoenix Wright... oh god.  OH GOD IT WOULD BE THE BEST THING EVER.

Wow just by looking at I can tell that I really don't.

I like MvC2, but I barely ever play it. Really only with friends.

Saw gameplay of it, looks sick.

MvC2 was meh to me, but MvC3 looks great.

I liked MvC2 a lot, and a lot more than the first one, but that like was limited to that'srightyouguessedit the ARCADE. Which I realize is an endagered species in the "setting" kingdom that young kids don't know about or understand.

I gotta say...for Niitsuma and Capcom to have enough balls to showcase the game at the VERY place where the highest probability of naysayers, haters, cautiously pessimistic and otherwise MvC2 players stand to be?

While the graphics look good something about the 3d looks off when compared to the 2d sprites; don't know if it has to do with the old sprites having fewer frames in the animations or something.

Not really. That's a game reserved for Nintendo's All Stars or hot mascots. Sonic was Mario's big rival and I'm actually surprised Mega Man didn't get in. He's been a 3rd party Nintendo icon to a lot of people, including myself.

I only see that Snake got in because Hideo begged for him to be in when Melee was in production, even though he was a bit late for that.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. Plus, I'd hardly say Capcom is "letting Mega Man go" after such recent and POPULAR titles like Mega Man NINE and TEN.

Also, in early production of TvC, it took a while for us to find out that Roll and Trigger were gonna be in it. Not to mention the hearing about Zero coming to the US version. Just be patient.

This game is AWESOME! Currently my favorite team is Iron Man/Deadpool/Dante.

#####ing loving it. My team consists of Zero/X-23/Deadpool, though I sometimes swap out Zero for C. Viper.

I really like X-23 but she's also somewhat awkward to use.

I found a cheap/easy powerhouse team was Wolverine, X-23, and Zero. Which is obvious but helped me get used to the game, though I only rented it.

Tron Bonne worked well for me against characters who can run up and chain attacks so much you can't react or do anything until they've killed your character. I guess it's her ridiculousness. And Super Skrull is really good for me against characters like Iron Man and M.O.D.O.K who just spray bullish everywhere and don't let you near them.

I don't know why anyone thinks Spencer is crappy. The first time I used him in arcade mode he decimated a character (Akuma, or someone that can be annoying) that was killing everyone I was comfortable playing with. I think that's pretty good.

 I don't really dig Deadpool in the game yet, but I really like Taskmaster.

I can't remember what I decided my main team was, though I'm pretty sure it had Zero and X-23 in it.

Dante is, as always, a butt.

The game just became a must buy.

I never really got the appeal of Dead Rising, there were/are far better zombie games out there in my experience and even THEN I like few of them. The MM thing might help if it didn't look like one of the Classic game box designs. Maybe that's the appeal? I don't get it.

I liked Dead Rising when it first came out, because it was ridiculously fun to be able to pick up ANY object and use it as a weapon to kill zombies. That was groundbreaking at the time.

The second one, however, looked boring and stupid by the time it came out, which I attribute more to the advancement of games since the first one's release.

The uh... new edition of the second one that just came out is actually pretty fun. Especially if you have someone to play co-op with... too bad it's just online co-op.

Combining weapons and stuff to make ridiculous crap is fun though.

Guys, I have a working Mega Buster in Saints Row: The Third, this isn't special.

OK well the one in SR3 is wireframe but it's shaped like the Classic buster and is fun. You get it in a TRON-style world.
