Really, though, I'm happy to be having a baby. I'm terrified of certain aspects (childbirth), and anxious about others (health, finances), but it's just something that feels right. Feeling her swimming around is amazing, especially her adorable little kicks. We're the first in our generation of our families to be expecting, too, so we have this outpouring of support and love. Hell, our wedding will be half family reunion. Family and friends we haven't seen in years have already told us they'll be there. I haven't had so much as morning sickness yet (excluding actually being sick), and every checkup says we're both perfectly healthy. Hearing her heart beating for the first time was incredible, and seeing her on the ultrasound just brought it home further. It's really an absoutely wonderful experience.
