I got a Nexus 7 tablet, as requested, but everything else was unexpected. Got Kid Icarus and Paper Mario for 3DS, Sonic T-Shirt, Half-Life hoodie, Pac-Man stress ball, Space Invaders bottle opener... people certainly know my retrogaming taste! Really good haul this year, more than most. Also will be getting a bunch of retired computer parts from my sister. Enough to build 3-4 working towers which I intend to sell for 30-80$ each, depending on what I throw in them. Title: Re: What did you get for HOLIDAY? Mom got me assorted kitchen gadgets and knick-knacks. She also upgraded my old phone to a new-fangled smart phone and my grandma sent me a very large sum of money so I can survive until I graduate! Also got the first season of Blue Bloods, Star Fluxx (a card game), Superman: Earth One Vol. 2, some other random graphic novels, a Miami Marlins hat (time to retire my old Florida Marlins hat), beef jerky, a Wal-Mart gift card, and a long-sleeve shirt.

My girlfriend got me a Zelda T-shirt, a pixelated heart mug that turns red when hot, and a Luigi plush. My parents got me a vegan cookbook, a 29 inch TV, dark hot chocolate, and a 125 dollar gift card, a red Nintendo shirt with a bunch of Mario characters (which I would never wear but it's awesome regardless) and some really comfortable black pyjama pants that I am wearing right now. My brother and his girlfriend got me a Batman: Arkham Asylum posable figure. I may use the gift card to buy 2 seasons of Breaking Bad and BBC's Sherlock, which have been my two favourite shows of late (mind you, I don't watch very much television). Not gonna list everything but some big guns are thus; My grandfather sold his condo and cut everyone a way-fatter-than-usual cheque, so that's super useful. Isopropyl alcohol is good for treating pests on plants (at properly dilutions)... And you can force some bulb plants like Narcissus to grow less tall (and therefore less apt to falling over) if you grow them in water with vodka in it... As long as you don't overdo it. When they ask what I really want, I need to describe that what I REALLY want is one of the top of line AM3 socket CPUs (as that's all my mobo will handle), a new graphics card, preferable an Nvidia 670 or AMD HD7870+ and a new power supply capable of 550+ watts that also includes 2 6+2 pin ATX connectors. Or a new 23" 1080p monitor. Then they give me cash because all of things are too expensive and they have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. The worst is the Wal-Mart gift cards, because I can't buy anything worth anything with those, I just sell them to friends for cash if they're going there anyways.
