Title: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Zenaku on 23 December 2007, 17:32:09 or more/better sequels. (Barring Megaman games, because who here doesn't want them ~_~)
Mischief Makers - NEED I SAY MORE? Snowboard Kids - Needs to be revived for the Wii Phantasy Star Online - PSU was blah. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Kamon on 23 December 2007, 17:49:15 Sonic needs better sequals.
I would like to see a Mischief Makers 2, but the full ending pretty much blows that idea away. Joe and Mac, Caveman Ninja. Loved the game, wish there was a sequal or port on a current handheld. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Edgecrusher on 23 December 2007, 18:14:23 I miss:

Where's my Crazy Taxi for the Wii? We all know that'd be the greatest. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Vinchenz Rock on 23 December 2007, 19:10:18 Snatcher. That's is all.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Abominator on 23 December 2007, 19:16:28 Good call.
I hope they unmake Monkey Island 3 & 4. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 23 December 2007, 20:08:06 Beyond Good & Evil.
Was supposed to be a trilogy and was a totally awesome sleeper hit from Ubisoft but poor advertising and such killed sales and they decided to not make the the two sequels (I think, I heard). Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 23 December 2007, 20:30:25 Grim Fandango.
Mischief Makers. Sin and Punishment. ...That's all I've got. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Kamon on 23 December 2007, 20:34:11 Viewtiful Joe, Godhand and Okemi.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 23 December 2007, 20:39:01 I wish Lunar had a proper new game, of course. I heard Rez or someone say the DS one is trash, but I might still pick it up just because I'm a punk.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 23 December 2007, 20:56:31 Viewtiful Joe, Godhand and Okemi. Sorry, but Clover died, they didn't make enough crappy Megaman games so Capcom amputated them from the company. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Abominator on 23 December 2007, 21:15:35 Doesn't mean the franchises are dead, mong.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 23 December 2007, 21:48:02 I miss Banjo on a Nintendo system.

PROPER sonic sequels. That's all for now. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: preventerWIND on 23 December 2007, 22:39:57 A good sequel for Chrono Trigger.

Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 24 December 2007, 01:21:54 I don't understand what's to hate about Banjo. It's a fun kooky 3D adventure game.
Speaking of which, I wish there was more DK64 than just... DK64. Super Mario RPG. Good call. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Orange Devil on 24 December 2007, 01:23:27 We need a Super Smash TV for the Wii.
And a new Super Mario RPG? Give me a break. Nintendo has fully proven that they can't make a Mario RPG without it being childish and over-story-oriented. I'm glad that they are leaving Super Mario RPG as a happy memory. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 24 December 2007, 01:42:32 NBA Jam was like the only sports game I liked. I wish there was more. I still say that NBA Jam is the best basketball game ever. But if you like NBA Jam try NBA Street Vol. 2 on GameCube. It's got similar stuff and it's awesome. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Johncarllos on 24 December 2007, 03:31:53 I'M pissed.
I just spent 10 minutes writing a good thing about beyond good and evil on my wii with a crapp keyboard, went to spellcheck it and lost it all. Warning- do not spellcheck here with the wii. I'm pissed, I know everything there is to know about that game and had a top 100 speed record at the online site where you'd put in the code it gave you at the end of the game. EDIT: found it, after going back a bunch of pages, it showed up, out of order from my history. I'm confused. Posted on: December 23, 2007, 10:26:56 PM Beyond Good & Evil. Friggin amazing game. they had codes for when you beat it, and I beat the whole game in I think 3 hours with one of the fastest recorded times. Great stuff. They chose NOT to make sequels because Prince of Persia SoT was released at the same time and they only planned on choosing one series to follow up with. Ubisoft failed to plan on two AMAZING games, and chose the one with more appeal, sword fighting/time freezing. If I ever heard ANYTHING about a Beyond Good and Evil sequal, I'd be the first to preorder it. Remember the song "Propaganda" at the shop? Yeah. Also, that 3.5 hour playthrough was at 100% And now that I'm reminiscing, I'm thinking about the dude in the armor, and fart launching pig, and boss fights, and I MIGHT go rebuy it. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 24 December 2007, 03:43:51 I still say that NBA Jam is the best basketball game ever. But if you like NBA Jam try NBA Street Vol. 2 on GameCube. It's got similar stuff and it's awesome. I'll keep an eye out, but you're right. I despise basketball games because they tend to be boring, but NBA Jam was just great. "HE'S ON FIRE! BOOM-SHAKALAKALAKA!" Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Majikn on 24 December 2007, 04:45:39 That game was the only non Mario sports game I was actually willing to play. I only ever saw it in arcade, though.
I remember I was playing basketball in real life when I was still in like, late elementary school, and I was being a dork with the basketball, imitating ##### from the game and my odd theatrics actually made the owner of the basketball start to cry. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 24 December 2007, 05:10:56 Friggin amazing game. they had codes for when you beat it, and I beat the whole game in I think 3 hours with one of the fastest recorded times. OK seriously, I felt like the only person who's played that game on this site. Good to know I'm not. It's very odd for Ubisoft to ##### up like that, but I guess they couldn't expect both games to rule. I still say that NBA Jam is the best basketball game ever. But if you like NBA Jam try NBA Street Vol. 2 on GameCube. It's got similar stuff and it's awesome. Actually there's an NBA Street Vol. 3 as well but I haven't tried it. I only first tried Vol. 2 'cause my friend has it as his apartment on campus so we chill there in between classes. But I absolutely love it and apparently you can make custom guys. You can do all sorts of tricks (and a lot of them aren't NBA-legal because it's more about playing street) and it even has turbo like NBA Jam. Basically all I could think of when playing the first time was "This is like a new NBA Jam! : - D". I love to play real ball all the time but I don't get to do it often. Either way I'm not as good as I was back when I lived in a project as a kid (since that's one of the only main sports we did). I suck now, I was only OK then. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Orange Devil on 24 December 2007, 06:02:14 I've played it. I didn't know it was that uncommon.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Johncarllos on 24 December 2007, 14:27:43 Well, I liken BGaE to Eternal Darkness in that they are awesome games that never really caught on to a lot of people because of weak advertising.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Edgecrusher on 24 December 2007, 16:18:30 A new Mario Paint would be awesome for the Wii.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Jakey on 24 December 2007, 16:23:47 Tooootally. That would be a mother#####ing bat of a game.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 24 December 2007, 18:12:14 I'd make movies on it and Rez could bring back his Samurai Squirrels!
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Rahvin on 25 December 2007, 07:10:12 I'd like
1. Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 3 2. A good Phantasy Star 3 remake with all the stuff they cut out due to time restraints put back in... 3. Dead Rising 2 4. The Darkness 2 5. A Rogue Galaxy sequel 6. A brand new Kessen game Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mournson on 25 December 2007, 09:10:24 well, a bit ago I had hoped for a "Nights Into Dreams" sequal, but, they are.have made it, and made Nights lok like a fairy, and not the cute little woman kind. idk, haven't played it, and I'll never have a Wii so I wont.
Jet Moto 4 anyone? I'm thinkin' jet moto with all the customizing coolness of modern racing games. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: SacredFireman on 26 December 2007, 05:12:29 Final Fantasy VIII *dodges bricks, tomato sticks and Rez's rabbit(Nibbles?)*
Xenosaga, especially since it was supposed to be something like 6 games prior to its end in Xenosaga III. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Ultimate Spiderman. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: dzx9 on 26 December 2007, 05:20:31 A good sequel for Chrono Trigger. The sequel is Chrono Cross, which was also amazing. It was supposed to be followed by Chrono Break but looks like that's not happening since SE let the trademark on the name run out. And that is a sequel I REALLY want. I'm also quite happy to hear there will be another sequel to The Longest Journey games called Dreamfall: Chapters. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Edgecrusher on 26 December 2007, 13:09:34 You KNOW they've given up Chrono Break when they dub Blue Dragon as it's "spiritual successor"
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 26 December 2007, 22:29:27 Blue Dragon, really? I haven't played that or anything but... I've gotten absolutely no Chrono feel from looking at any of it.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 26 December 2007, 22:48:25 Chrono huh?
Gee, I really got a Blue Dragon Ball Z vibe from it. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Edgecrusher on 26 December 2007, 22:49:25 Leave it to Mr. Toriama. It feels about as much like Chrono Trigger as Dragon Quest does.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: guitaristjoe on 27 December 2007, 06:11:00 Coded Arms...

Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Kamon on 27 December 2007, 16:39:34 Coded Arms... Well, you're in luck then. Konami are making Coded Arms: Contagen for the PSP. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: TheRedPriest on 27 December 2007, 17:38:51 I wish Lunar had a proper new game, of course. I heard Rez or someone say the DS one is trash, but I might still pick it up just because I'm a punk. You take damage from running. Let me repete that in case you missed it. RUNNING. If you want to move faster than a snail on glue on the over world maps, you take HP damage. This is but one of the absolutely comically bad game design concepts used for this game. A good sequel for Chrono Trigger. Chrono Cross is actually a good game in it's own right, but as a sequal to Chrono Trigger it's a piece of #####. It voided the whole point of Chrono Trigger (you can change the future for the better), had no time travel, killed the entire cast of the first game, abandoned the double/triple tech (yes I know there are all of 3 or 4 in the game and they're nearly impossible to get w/o a guide). But I think of it as a stand alone game that references CT in a bad sort of way. As I said, take it as it's own game and it's quite good. Blue Dragon, really? I haven't played that or anything but... I've gotten absolutely no Chrono feel from looking at any of it. Chrono huh? Leave it to Mr. Toriama. It feels about as much like Chrono Trigger as Dragon Quest does. All true. Having played the demo a bit with a friend I have to say this resembles Chrono Trigger in no way what so ever. It's like saying a Man is the spiritual successor to wood. I can't say I cared for the combat/magic system in the game at all myself. Sequal Rez would like to see? Mega Man X5, seeing as X4 was the last X game. Baring that sweet, sweet impossibility I'll say Space Quest 7 or Gabriel Knight 4. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 28 December 2007, 01:33:05 I wish Lunar had a proper new game, of course. I actually just heard about that yesterday. And other things. I'm not really planning to get it but I hear the story is good, and that's what I really want from it since apparently it's a prequel to Silver Star or something. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Dopefish on 30 December 2007, 00:08:53 I wish Apogee and ID would continue the Commander Keen series....Lots of fans have been waiting for a Keen 8 for over 15 years now.

Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Edgecrusher on 3 January 2008, 05:21:05 Psychonauts always looked annoying and craply to me. Really? Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: yuri on 4 January 2008, 03:24:24 I got to the first boss of Prime 1 and turned it off... The first prime was almost as good as the second in my opinion. The thing about the second was it was much more challenging and more fun. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 4 January 2008, 04:42:57 Being that Prime 2 is almost boring, I can imagine how boring the first Prime is.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Vinchenz Rock on 4 January 2008, 04:47:44 Being that Prime 2 is almost boring, I can imagine how boring the first Prime is. No, Prime 2 is acutally pretty bad in comparison to Prime. Prime 2 had too many fetch quests and not enough puzzles. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 4 January 2008, 05:03:14 I hope it is pretty bad compared to the first Prime, because I got pretty bored of all the fetching. Like I was glad to see Space Pirates show up because they offered something to actually do. Another problem I had with Prime 2 is the whole dark world thing. I'm tired of that plot device in games.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Vinchenz Rock on 4 January 2008, 05:53:47 Yeah, Prime had little fetching and no dark world. The only thing you really needed to "fetch" in Prime 1 was the keys and really, you come across those keys while you're on your current route to get a Grapple Beam or Super Missile anyway.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 4 January 2008, 05:56:06 Sounds better. I'd try it, but only for free.

I guess once they abandoned any pretence of trying to present it as "Metroid in 3D" and went to "Metroid FPS" it worked.

Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Speed Racer on 6 January 2008, 17:26:51 Advent Rising - I bought this for $5 over at Circuit City last semester and I was completely blown away. Had I known that it was this awesome, I would have bought it for $50 when it originally came out. After I finished the game, I read that they were releasing Advent Shadow for the PSP...I was all geared up to buy a PSP until I found out that the game had been canceled (along with the rest of the series) six months after Advent Rising had been released. There are glitches a'plenty, but the action, music, and storyline are awesome as all hell. Looking forward to Too Human, as it sounds like it'll be like Advent Rising on steroids.
Call of Juarez - Neat little Western action game that goes back to days of Full Throttle and Myst. Full Throttle - Damn you LucasArts for cancelling the sequel (along with a Sam & Max sequel) when it was 70% complete. Jet Set Radio - This awesome series needs another cel-shaded, funk-blasting, spray-painting sequel. Much love to Professor K. Killer Instinct - I'd love to see a Killer Instinct 3 be made for the 360. Wing Commander - We need to bring back the space sim genre with the best of them all. The Wing Commander Arena game is fun, but I don't count it as a sequel. I suspect their incompetence to handle great games the right way. MegaMan was too awesome for them to handle, they didn't know what to do with it, but they still did it anyways. Rival schools was too awesome for them to handle, they didn't know what to do with it, so they cut it. I demand a sequel. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Lunchebox on 8 March 2008, 01:49:31 Shadow of the Colossus needed more games, with even bigger Colossuses (Colossi?).
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Johncarllos on 8 March 2008, 02:08:47 Colossi.
And yes it does. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 8 March 2008, 02:53:41 Ico is actually after Shadow Of The Colossus, so there you go... And I didn't finish the game but from what I heard a direct Colossi themed sequel would ruin it all.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Johncarllos on 8 March 2008, 02:56:18 I know...
It was just a very entertaining game to play and some people think it wasn't enough. I think it stands as a work of art for the PS2. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 8 March 2008, 03:09:47 Let it stand then, more games that aren't a prequel to that one which involve the Colossi would probably ruin it. More stories in that universe would be good though, assuming Ico is as good as I've heard.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 8 March 2008, 05:17:53 It's a beautiful game. It only popped in my head while rolling on the rolling chairs during my second block at school. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Edgecrusher on 12 March 2008, 03:36:41 I want a new Shadow Hearts game. Preferably one that doesn't suck as badly as the third installment.
Also, I know I've said this a million times before but, I want another Breath of Fire. One bad installment should NOT kill that franchise, especially when said offender abandoned almost all elements that made the series great. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Cherry on 12 March 2008, 17:39:01 There are several games I wish had sequels, particularly an obscure little gem called Dragonseeds.
But then I remember wishing for a sequel to Jade Cocoon (almost equally obscure), and finding that it SUCKED. So what sequels do I wish for? ...At the moment, I don't trust the creators of any game to make a decent sequel. What I want is a Sonic game with a couple of the comic-exclusive characters. They were much better than what they're coming up with now. I can just barely tolerate that newest hedgehog. (What's his name, Silver?) Yeah, just this close to outright not liking him. Princess Sally, Antoine, and Bunnie Rabbot are so much better. But I don't think I can trust Sega for that, despite all the great work they've done in the past. Somehow, I think they'd have done it if they could. Could be wrong though... Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 12 March 2008, 20:55:39 They should never have made any hedgehogs as main characters beyond Amy. I'm not an Amy fan but that kind of character is necessary, I suppose, even though Tails is incredibly more fem than needed.
Shadow was the stupid obvious character; "Ooh a black hedgehog he's so dark" ##### off. Shadow is like a fan character that somehow broke through the source wall of fanfiction and actual fiction. Silver is just, from what I know, the opposite to Shadow. Making Sonic himself completely useless. They should have focused on doing something with the Chaotix for SA2, after the ridiculously awesome first SA. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 12 March 2008, 23:19:58 The Archie comics cast would fit really well into that Sonic RPG BioWare is making.

Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Cherry on 13 March 2008, 17:54:06 The Archie comics cast would fit really well into that Sonic RPG BioWare is making. Yeah! I can definitely see that! ...But will Sega do it? As for Shadow - please. You don't need to be/wear black with red accents and have amnesia to be cool. And that's why Knuckles wins any day - Knuckles is cool in his own right, not because he follows an overused formula. That doesn't mean I don't like the character - I just don't like Sega's cop-out in the process of creating him. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Voulnet on 13 March 2008, 22:03:54 I want a new Shadow Hearts game. Preferably one that doesn't suck as badly as the third installment.Yeah, Shadow Hearts is too good to be neglected. Yuri needs another game. I disliked the 3rd Shadow Hearts game, but I liked that cat character a lot. If they're gonna make a new game, they should try to include him in it. Yuri and that cat fighting like immature pricks will entertain me greatly. I remember not liking RPG's but I played it because Nintendo Power was hyping it up SO damn much. It's good. Actually, I have the sequel but have never played the original. Apparently it's just as good, but better if you own the original because you can transfer money and weapons and Djinn from the first one. But you play as the other group for most of the sequel game. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: saldite on 30 July 2008, 04:36:10 Battletoads needs a sequel
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Ikeoko on 8 August 2008, 01:26:06 I think Portal needs a sequel, it's a short game.
(If it's been mentioned already, sorry.) Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 8 August 2008, 01:26:52 It's getting a sequel.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 8 August 2008, 01:29:38 I doubt it has been mentioned, but you can play the Portal flash game in the meantime. It's actually pretty fun.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Ikeoko on 8 August 2008, 01:30:45 There's a flash game?? o.O
I did not know this... do you have the link or know where I can find it? Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: preventerWIND on 8 August 2008, 01:31:13 Google. Use it.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 8 August 2008, 01:37:39 Or on Newgrounds.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 8 August 2008, 01:43:59 And I'm sick of people calling Portal "too short", for the record.
It was the perfect length. A creative and fun excursion that didn't drag on any longer than it needed to. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Ikeoko on 8 August 2008, 01:47:32 I know...I was just sayin'.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 8 August 2008, 01:49:01 You were just sayin' WRONG, holmes.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Ikeoko on 8 August 2008, 01:54:37 Yes, sir!
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 8 August 2008, 01:56:17 I don't remember writing that last post. Which is odd considering it just a few minutes ago.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Ikeoko on 8 August 2008, 02:00:36 Odd indeed...
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 8 August 2008, 06:34:37 I played the Portal flash. There's some interesting glitches in there.
It took me a while to beat it because I didn't know how to pick up things. I beat it during my computer graphic's class. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 9 August 2008, 02:59:17 Read the instructions next time, hot shot!
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 9 August 2008, 15:38:28 I don't buy a game to read. I buy it bash people's brains out, get 1st place, find which princess the castle is in, save the world from an evil doctor, return peace to the land of Koridai, eat lots of fruit, pay off my house, collect some dumb sacred gems and defeat a final boss in some cliche storyline, defeat Master Hand, become a PokeMon master, prove my client is not guilty, defeat Metal Gear, or spend a good time of my life collecting every card in the game.
READING IS NOT AN OPTION. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Johncarllos on 9 August 2008, 15:45:34 Epic.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 16 August 2008, 02:56:52 Except it's all foiled in the first sentence. You DIDN'T buy Portal Flash at all. So read it, bitch.
(And you can't prove your client innocent without reading in that game, so go eat a second helping as you just got served. Twice.) Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 16 August 2008, 05:50:58 I already knew when I posted it, but you knew what I meant Mikey.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Ikeoko on 20 August 2008, 01:38:27 I wish there was a sequal to the Shrek game for the game boy advance. That game was awesomeeee.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 20 August 2008, 03:28:43 The movie wasn't.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 20 August 2008, 03:33:33 I'd disagree with both statements. Even though I've never played the game, I don't want to.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 20 August 2008, 03:35:05 All the Shrek movies are bleh. There shouldn't even be more than one.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 20 August 2008, 03:45:51 The first Shrek was great, in my opinion. Then I saw the second and hated it so much that it almost ruined the first one for me. I've still never seen the third and don't ever plan on it.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 20 August 2008, 03:47:43 I didn't see the first one until after everyone talked about it like crazy for a year. It was OK at best. The funniest thing is in the DVD menu where you go to special features. That sequence with Pinocchio is better than the whole movie.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 20 August 2008, 03:56:07 The best and most offensive DVD menu feature EVER is when you select Hebrew as a language on the Borat DVD.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 20 August 2008, 03:57:58 I must check that out tomorrow.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 20 August 2008, 03:58:32 Glad I didn't give it away, then. I found it out by accident and I cannot tell you how funny I thought it was.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 20 August 2008, 03:59:48 I was actually impressed with the 2nd one. Don't know how long ago it was, but I was expecting them to totally ruin it. It met my expectations. The 1st Shrek is better though.
I haven't seen the 3rd one, but I don't really care. Although I liked the 2nd one, but I'd rather they stop right now while they're ahead. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 20 August 2008, 04:06:16 I found the second one somewhat enjoyable and surprisingly not as crap as expected, however completely useless and not very funny. I've never bothered to watch another.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 20 August 2008, 04:07:31 The only good part in the second one was when they first go through the city and it's got all those spoofs of restaraunts and stores that aren't even memorable enough for me to remember.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 20 August 2008, 04:08:55 I got a couple of laughs out of both of them. I was expecting not to laugh at all in the second one.
I don't know if I want to watch the third one or not. I might check it out if it's "the movie" for a movie night somewhere or something. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 20 August 2008, 04:10:48 I've blocked 90% of the second one out of my memory.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 20 August 2008, 04:12:20 For some reason, the same here.
I remember some parts in between and the beginning, but that's it. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 20 August 2008, 04:19:01 For good reason, same here.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Ikeoko on 20 August 2008, 23:45:48 All you people that are dissin' Shrek don't know what your talkin' about. The first movie is totally awesome. I even watched it last night. But the second one was like eh, and I own the third one but I've never seen it. But the first one is amazing so don't be hatin'.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: NovaMan XP on 20 August 2008, 23:58:16 I liked the first one, second one was... kinda pushing it. I don't want to watch the third one.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ChaosVortex on 21 August 2008, 00:18:52 I have similar feelings as Nova.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: NovaMan XP on 21 August 2008, 01:12:53 WHICH MAKES US CLONES.
YOU MUST DIE DOPPELGANGER! Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Johncarllos on 21 August 2008, 01:39:30 3rd one sucks.
I like the first one because Will Smith quotes it in "I Am Legend." (lolnotreally) Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: preventerWIND on 21 August 2008, 01:55:39 First was OK, could do without the SmashMouth crap. I didn't watch the second one, and the third one I kind of had to since it was playing with another movie at the drive in.
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Ikeoko on 21 August 2008, 02:12:03 I haven't been to a drive in theater in like...ages. I wish there was one around here...
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: preventerWIND on 21 August 2008, 02:17:08 We got about 50 around here, 'cause Toronto is the center of the uni-*killed*
Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Johncarllos on 21 August 2008, 02:42:48 First was OK, could do without the SmashMouth crap. I didn't watch the second one, and the third one I kind of had to since it was playing with another movie at the drive in. NO WAI NO NO NO NO That's how I saw Shrek 3 too! Went to see some GOOD movie as the second feature, but there's never any good parking if you show up for just the second one, so we suffered through shrek 3, which wasn't horrid, but wasn't good. I forget what the second feature was. But hey, $7 for 2 movies? Helluva deal. Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: ASR on 22 August 2008, 08:09:29 All-Star is one of my favorite songs by default of nostalgia, have it all memorized. So, reading Mike's posts were fun because he tripped things up a bit.
LESSON TO OTHERS: IF YOU'RE GONNA' COPYPASTA LYRICS, SHAKE THINGS UP A BIT Title: Re: Games you wish had sequels Post by: Mikero on 24 August 2008, 00:24:05 I don't like the song much, I just have it memorized because everyone played it out in the eighth grade like it was the limit. And it STILL gets play in movies/tv/radio randomly.
And I didn't even copy paste them, I typed that crap out (the chorus only one time). Anyway I like the album that song is on, "Astrolounge" or whatever, and sometimes play it at the store for no reason. It's good for something light during the drudgery of Ottawa. |
