Title: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 2 December 2007, 22:12:49 Gotta catch 'em all.
AND, any Wii games that have friend codes should be posted here as well. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: NovaMan XP on 2 December 2007, 22:15:34 I don't. Just Guitar Hero II on the 360...
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 2 December 2007, 22:29:06 I have GH3 but I hate playing online.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Mikero on 2 December 2007, 22:34:01 I wanted it but you can't find it anywhere here and I hear GH2 is better anyway. Plus I'm sure I'll get bored of it in ten seconds since I've only played it at friends' places and games are easy to enjoy for a short time.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 2 December 2007, 22:35:15 Oh, I have it for the 360 anyway. Ha, forgot this was a Wii thread. I only really like playing it when friends are over.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 2 December 2007, 22:37:31 I Love GH3, on the Wii, I have been consistantly ranked in the top 800, 'till recently when the crazy players started buckling down....
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: NovaMan XP on 2 December 2007, 22:45:38 You can't find it for the Wii because they had some recall because people were bitching about it only have Mono sound support or something....
I saw my cousin playing GH3, it didn't look as nice as GH2 to be honest. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 2 December 2007, 23:00:32 GH3 for the Wii does not look as good as ANYTHING for the 360.
And yes, it DOES have mono sound, which sucks, but I'm gonna return it after the fact because I can't go for very long without it. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 2 December 2007, 23:09:16 ...it has mono sound? Wtfmate?
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 2 December 2007, 23:13:12 Tell me about.
The songs do not sound good. BUT, my room has such amazing acoustics that I can't even tell when a speaker is out. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 2 December 2007, 23:25:47 Not everybody has your room.
Thank God I got the 360 version. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Mikero on 2 December 2007, 23:29:32 GH2 just has better songs, I hear. I don't know the songlist for 3 but 2's is pretty good.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 2 December 2007, 23:32:02 The song list for 3 is indeed very good.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 2 December 2007, 23:45:52 I hate Kool Thing and that Killswitch Engage song.
With a passion. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Mikero on 3 December 2007, 00:04:34 GH2 has Killing In The Name.
The end. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 3 December 2007, 00:21:34 The Killswitch Engage song is a bonus unlockable thing and on Expert mode it is seriously the hardest video game challenge I've ever seen in any form.
I personally can't do amazing on Hard Mode, so watching my friend play something like that song on Expert is a bit of an insane moment for me. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 3 December 2007, 00:27:40 What?
THAT'S hard? That's easy, just tedious, a challenge is One, or Raining Blood, or, of course, Through the Fire and Flames, youtube it, you'll crap your pants. I can beat every song on Expert EXCEPT TTFaF. It's nuts. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 3 December 2007, 00:36:36 I'm not hardcore so I don't know much about which ones are extremely difficult, but now that you mention it, I can definitely imagine "One" being extremely hard.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Blasphemy Scarab on 3 December 2007, 00:39:38 Wii: 8935-3166-8242-0115
GHIII: 0473-5946-5067 Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Chron on 3 December 2007, 00:42:19 God, if I had my Wii with me here I'd post my codes.
Simply because I have Metroid Prime 3, and a CRAPLOAD of friend credits. Friend credits which I can't use to unlock Mario bobble heads in Samus's ship because I have no friends to trade them with. seriously, what were they thinking? ): This really only applies if anyone else has MP3, though. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 3 December 2007, 00:45:41 OMG Scarab add me, I'll add you.
Wii and GH3 Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 3 December 2007, 00:49:52 It's only a bobblehead of your own Mii's head on Samus' body.
And Xero and I swapped out our Friend Credits like madmen, probably because I was the only one on his Friend List with the game at the time, I assume. I had a ton of people. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Chron on 3 December 2007, 00:52:09 Righto about the bobble-head. I got confused with what... the bumper stickers?
Right. And aw about the friend credits ;_; Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Vinchenz Rock on 3 December 2007, 02:37:08 Argh, damn you, JC.
I was going to make this thread... and a lot more reader friendly than "post ur codz heer" like the last time. D: Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Teelio on 3 December 2007, 02:51:59 If anybody could teach me how to connect the Wii online, I would greatly appreciate it.
Por favor. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 3 December 2007, 03:00:45 Wireless router is needed, unless you buy an adaptor or something for a landline connection. Nintendo sells official products to do this.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Chron on 3 December 2007, 03:01:41 The rest is in the manual.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Vinchenz Rock on 3 December 2007, 03:02:28 You need a USB Dongle.
Yes, dongle. Or a wireless router. I use D-Link. After that, get your Wii to look for your wireless thingy. Easy as pie! Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Teelio on 3 December 2007, 03:05:40 Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Chron on 3 December 2007, 03:10:04 1. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 3 December 2007, 03:14:32 You did it wrong. There's only 3 steps in any "??? Profit!" plan.

Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Mikero on 3 December 2007, 05:06:19 I can beat every song on Expert EXCEPT TTFaF. It's nuts. OKAY! You're cool! We get it! Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 3 December 2007, 14:11:57 *puts all codes in first post*

Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 19 February 2008, 18:21:10 What do you mean it doesn't work with your DS? Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 19 February 2008, 22:49:52 What do you mean it doesn't work with your DS? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard and there must be a simple solution for it. It's called WEP, boy, the new system doesn't support WEP. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 20 February 2008, 02:29:51 Well, you can disable WEP protection if you want, but I understand what you mean, now. Your parents probably want to keep it protected.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 20 February 2008, 03:14:00 ...My parents? I'm not 5 years old, I how the hell it's setup. The thing is this new setup doesn't really have any real WEP at all, and that's what the DS connects through, so no dice.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Vinchenz Rock on 20 February 2008, 03:35:22 You can change the settings on the DS you know. If WEP is on, turn it off.
Or try to scan again. MY router doesn't use WEP and its fine. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 20 February 2008, 16:19:22 Yeah, you don't need a password to get on a wireless network.

Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Abominator on 20 February 2008, 22:10:31 Likewise.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 21 February 2008, 03:23:41 They're for sale everywhere, and they will continue to be for a long while. They're VERY useful.
I'll be picking one up when I leave for college next year. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Mikero on 22 February 2008, 06:25:54 You'll probably be able to tap you campus' wireless for free. All campus' have free wireless for students, and the dorms would be all hooked up.
I moved my Wii to be closer to the thing thinking that would help. It didn't, it was a problem with my PC which I had to fix. Twice. But otherwise the range on it is fine but it's annoying that you have to have the computer on and logged in to the particular account that the Wii/DS is registered with. #####. You don't need to have your main line PC running for your wireless router to let your laptop connect. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 8 March 2008, 21:20:42 Anyone who DOESN'T have their info here, post it now.

I think your wheel goes gold once you have over a certain amount of points. Either that or it goes by your overall rank based on GP matches etc. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ChaosVortex on 21 April 2008, 03:18:01 ONE WEEK! ONE MORE WEEK, ATSSHOLES!

0817-7937-7302 Nathan Windhill EDIT: I quickly started a new town. It's better and such. Use the friend code above. Posted on: 26 December 2008, 19:46:34 I can't get into Annie's town... I've been trying to visit for hours. Her gates are open and everything, but no response. She doesn't get a message or anything. EDIT2: Okay, I think it's the Nintendo WFC. Something wrong, because I keep getting disconnected and Annie isn't getting any messages saying I'm wanting in. Also, I tried going to the technical help forum to ask why, and as I'm about to register, THEY FLIPPIN TURNED IT OFF AND PUT IT ON MAINTENANCE. Posted on: 28 December 2008, 02:16:04 I called Nintendo. If you're unable to connect online (Like I'm unable to with Mario Kart and Animal Crossing) or having issues with visiting someone's town, the servers are busy. This makes me pout. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 29 December 2008, 01:03:44 The servers are DOWN.
Half of all Nintendo WFC games haven't worked for a while apparently. Or have been mis-behaving. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: preventerWIND on 29 December 2008, 01:50:04 Hahaha! Glad I didn't get a Wii this Christmas!
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ChaosVortex on 30 December 2008, 05:30:22 WI-FI IS WORKING.
VISITED ANNIE'S TOWN. HAD A BLAST. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 30 December 2008, 06:09:07 AWESOME.
I'm NOT gonna play GHWT online! I haven't played in a while.... Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Vinchenz Rock on 5 January 2009, 01:07:41 Got me some Animal Crossing Wii.
FC: 2063-3629-9183 Name: Vinchenz Town: Mahogany I'll be on until 9PM EST, after that I don't know when I'll ever be on again. Edit: Also, I have oranges if anyone's interested. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ChaosVortex on 5 January 2009, 02:34:14 If you ever want to play, I'm on AIM (and MSN).
EDIT: I have apples and pears. Soon to have Coconuts. Good luck getting some. I usually sell em when I see em. I'll try to keep two of each in a drawer for ya though. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Orange Devil on 10 February 2009, 15:42:04 Does no one play COD: World at War for wii? Because it's freaking great.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 10 February 2009, 16:08:39 Is it?
I don't even like it on 360.... Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Orange Devil on 10 February 2009, 16:31:07 WELL then...
I can't believe no one here plays the first amazing FPS (and online game) for wii Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Fatso on 10 February 2009, 16:39:04 It pales in comparison to other FPS games, unfortunately, especially cod4 which was actually amazing instead of merely okay.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 10 February 2009, 16:43:03 Yeah, my younger brother is a HUGE CoD fan and he's given me the scoop several times.
Call of Duty 2 was fantastic. Call of Duty 3 sucked. Call of Duty 4 was perfection. Call of Duty: World at War sucked. Apparently they swap between two developers every game. The people who work on the even-numbered installments make the good games, I guess. I've never played any of them so I don't know. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Fatso on 10 February 2009, 16:47:15 Infinity Ward, the devs of the first Call of Duty game and a FANTASTIC group of game-makers, were in charge of cod2 and 4. Treyarch, a developer nobody's heard of before for good reason, were in charge of 3 and 5. The quality differences are gargantuan.
EDIT: cod4 is really good but I wouldn't call it 'perfection' by any criterion. There are individual games that do individual things much better than cod4 (for example, UT3 looks better and has better deathmatch, and Counter-Strike has a better bomb-defuse game mode). cod4's strength is pulling it all together and doing all of it pretty well. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Orange Devil on 10 February 2009, 17:01:00 Despite the fact that it's just a run-of-the-mill shooter on other systems, on Wii it really is a gem. The gameplay is what everyone's been waiting for. Finally, an FPS on Wii feels like it should. And just because it doesn't live up to the standards of past CODs doesn't mean it's not great.
In addition to it's smooth gameplay, it has great online capabilities. Unlike other online titles, it actually has a level system with progress and rewards. Truly addicting, just like any other COD. So basically, if you're looking for another XBox shooter, get COD4. But if you want the unique Wii shooter experience, get World at War. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Abominator on 10 February 2009, 17:02:55 Does no one play COD: World at War for wii? Because it's freaking great. It's too hard. I like to Rambo, not to tactic! Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Fatso on 10 February 2009, 17:13:55 Perhaps I have just been too spoiled by wonderful games like Tribes and Half-Life and Quake and Unreal, but I find the prospect of buying a merely-okay shooter these days less than appetizing, which is why I'm disappointed by Far Cry 2 (definitely not worth your $50, even if I disagree with people who consider it one of the worst games of 2008)
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ASR on 10 February 2009, 17:24:18 EDIT: cod4 is really good but I wouldn't call it 'perfection' by any criterion. Not my words. My brother's. Never played it. Don't care. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Orange Devil on 12 February 2009, 00:39:09 Does no one play COD: World at War for wii? Because it's freaking great. See, rambo games like Far Cry are GREAT... ...but there's something to be said about hard shooters that force you to be strategic. Plus, the opportunities that you do have to bust people in the face with a flamethrower are that much more glorious. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Mikero on 12 February 2009, 06:14:23 I'll try any Call Of Duty game now, based on the fun of the CoD3 demo.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: NovaMan XP on 12 February 2009, 17:48:18 I played the newest CoD on the PS3, and it was pretty fun. I always hear CoD4 is better, but if I get any of the games, I'll probably get World at War.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Vinchenz Rock on 12 February 2009, 22:23:41 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was announced, btw.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Johncarllos on 12 February 2009, 22:30:21 Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: NovaMan XP on 13 February 2009, 00:08:02 THAT MAKES NO SENSE UNLESS THEY CALL IT CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE 2 WHICH MAKES NO SENSE EITHER...
... but uh... Cool. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Vinchenz Rock on 13 February 2009, 04:22:53 Well, COD5 didn't actually have the 5 in the title.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: NovaMan XP on 13 February 2009, 04:32:01 ALSO STUPID
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Fatso on 14 February 2009, 02:59:55 I understand their reasoning. Titles like Mega Man 9... the 9 makes the series sound tired.
Of course based on cod5 the series seems pretty tired already, but I'm confident that Infinity Ward (who are actually capable of producing quality goods) can put out at least one more golden game. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Edgecrusher on 8 October 2009, 07:50:18 You know, I don't think I've ever actually posted these:
Wii #: 8360 4879 2314 2210 PSN: BassMechanism Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ChaosVortex on 9 October 2009, 18:43:22 Any games on the Wii?
Posted on: 9 October 2009, 18:26:38 Added your Wii #. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Edgecrusher on 9 October 2009, 21:33:59 Ironically, the only game I have for the Wii that has any meaningful degree of online functionality is Metroid Prime Trilogy, and that's tied directly to my Wii#.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ChaosVortex on 9 October 2009, 21:50:14 Huh. Only game I'd actually bother playing online at the moment anyway would be Mario Kart.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Mikero on 10 October 2009, 03:02:36 I still haven't tried that.
I don't really care but I want to try the motorcycles a bit. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: ChaosVortex on 10 October 2009, 04:49:37 If you lived near me I'd let you borrow it. I barely play my Wii anymore.
Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: Lunchebox on 29 October 2009, 04:11:25 Right. I sold my old Wii and DS some time ago, so delete me from your friends list. I have a DSI now, but no online games at the moment.

I'm getting the hang of it. I can do pretty well against a CPU battle, but when I try a battle online I get my butt handed to me. Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: NovaMan XP on 29 January 2010, 08:33:49 Tatsunoko VS. Capcom

I got a Wii U, and I know I'm getting Smash Bros. Wii U for holiday, so pass me up your Nintendo Network IDs and we'll have a time! Mine is simply: Collymore Title: Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes Post by: TheRedPriest on 28 December 2014, 23:42:11 I don't have SMASH yet, but I do have Mario Kart 8. I forget my ID though. I'll have to look it up later. I'm pretty much never on though (don't really care for online games).
