I have GH3 but I hate playing online.

I wanted it but you can't find it anywhere here and I hear GH2 is better anyway. Plus I'm sure I'll get bored of it in ten seconds since I've only played it at friends' places and games are easy to enjoy for a short time.

I Love GH3, on the Wii, I have been consistantly ranked in the top 800, 'till recently when the crazy players started buckling down....

You can't find it for the Wii because they had some recall because people were bitching about it only have Mono sound support or something....

I saw my cousin playing GH3, it didn't look as nice as GH2 to be honest.

GH3 for the Wii does not look as good as ANYTHING for the 360.

And yes, it DOES have mono sound, which sucks, but I'm gonna return it after the fact because I can't go for very long without it.

The Killswitch Engage song is a bonus unlockable thing and on Expert mode it is seriously the hardest video game challenge I've ever seen in any form.

I personally can't do amazing on Hard Mode, so watching my friend play something like that song on Expert is a bit of an insane moment for me.

Wireless router is needed, unless you buy an adaptor or something for a landline connection. Nintendo sells official products to do this.

Oh yeah dudes, I recently switched my Internet provider, and the new wireless thing I have doesn't support the DS, my Wii is still fine for online stuff, but not my DS. So feel free to not add my DS Friend Codes anymore, unless you just want to waste space.

You'll probably be able to tap you campus' wireless for free. All campus' have free wireless for students, and the dorms would be all hooked up.

I moved my Wii to be closer to the thing thinking that would help. It didn't, it was a problem with my PC which I had to fix. Twice. But otherwise the range on it is fine but it's annoying that you have to have the computer on and logged in to the particular account that the Wii/DS is registered with. #####. You don't need to have your main line PC running for your wireless router to let your laptop connect.

I can't believe no one here plays the first amazing FPS (and online game) for wii

It pales in comparison to other FPS games, unfortunately, especially cod4 which was actually amazing instead of merely okay.

Yeah, my younger brother is a HUGE CoD fan and he's given me the scoop several times.

Call of Duty 2 was fantastic. Call of Duty 3 sucked. Call of Duty 4 was perfection. Call of Duty: World at War sucked.

Apparently they swap between two developers every game. The people who work on the even-numbered installments make the good games, I guess. I've never played any of them so I don't know.

Infinity Ward, the devs of the first Call of Duty game and a FANTASTIC group of game-makers, were in charge of cod2 and 4. Treyarch, a developer nobody's heard of before for good reason, were in charge of 3 and 5. The quality differences are gargantuan.

EDIT: cod4 is really good but I wouldn't call it 'perfection' by any criterion. There are individual games that do individual things much better than cod4 (for example, UT3 looks better and has better deathmatch, and Counter-Strike has a better bomb-defuse game mode). cod4's strength is pulling it all together and doing all of it pretty well.

Despite the fact that it's just a run-of-the-mill shooter on other systems, on Wii it really is a gem. The gameplay is what everyone's been waiting for. Finally, an FPS on Wii feels like it should. And just because it doesn't live up to the standards of past CODs doesn't mean it's not great.

In addition to it's smooth gameplay, it has great online capabilities. Unlike other online titles, it actually has a level system with progress and rewards. Truly addicting, just like any other COD.

So basically, if you're looking for another XBox shooter, get COD4. But if you want the unique Wii shooter experience, get World at War.

Perhaps I have just been too spoiled by wonderful games like Tribes and Half-Life and Quake and Unreal, but I find the prospect of buying a merely-okay shooter these days less than appetizing, which is why I'm disappointed by Far Cry 2 (definitely not worth your $50, even if I disagree with people who consider it one of the worst games of 2008)

See, rambo games like Far Cry are GREAT...

...but there's something to be said about hard shooters that force you to be strategic. Plus, the opportunities that you do have to bust people in the face with a flamethrower are that much more glorious.

I'll try any Call Of Duty game now, based on the fun of the CoD3 demo.

I played the newest CoD on the PS3, and it was pretty fun. I always hear CoD4 is better, but if I get any of the games, I'll probably get World at War.

I understand their reasoning. Titles like Mega Man 9... the 9 makes the series sound tired.

Of course based on cod5 the series seems pretty tired already, but I'm confident that Infinity Ward (who are actually capable of producing quality goods) can put out at least one more golden game.

Ironically, the only game I have for the Wii that has any meaningful degree of online functionality is Metroid Prime Trilogy, and that's tied directly to my Wii#.

Huh. Only game I'd actually bother playing online at the moment anyway would be Mario Kart.
