I'm trying to master the ultimate drinking skill, not JUST chugging, but drinking without swallowing.

To put it better, I want to be able to take a can of soda and pour it directly down my throat, non stop.

Does anybody have any tips on how to do this? I'm trying to break the swallowing reflex, because I can open the throat, it's just as soon as liquid gets in there my body automatically swallows and breaks the flow of liquid.

I know this is a weird topic, but if I can master it I'll make a video showing off my new skill.

That sounds like a good way to choke.  Or aspirate, or drown, or whatever you call it when you inhale liquid into your lungs.

Word of caution: When you master the skill of opening your throat, be aware of extremes in liquid temperature.

I can do it with a can of RedBull. I hate RedBull though, but we had a drinking competition before where you  have to drink as fast as you can then run as fast as you can to reach the finish line before anyone else.
I won, and I did it by pouring the whole can down my throat nonstop. Too bad I don't know how I did it, I just poured in the liquid in.

Practice makes perfect.

Open your mouth, fully, and allow air to go out in very small portions as you pour the drink down.

I dunno, I actually developed this ability since I was little... I was tired one day from a hard day of gym and I wanted to drink as much cool water from the water fountain without gasping for air. And then it developed from there...

Mexico-U.S.A: An issue.

Iran-Kuwait: A war.

No no no, you're getting it wrong. Just for the record, and not to start a political debate, but there is no current war between Kuwait and Iran. However, they always threaten the whole area, Kuwait included, sending spies and trying to cause mischief in our countries as well as trying to alienate all shiite people to their own control.

The oil tankers and bombs situations happened in the 80s, during the time of the Iraq vs Iran war. Basically Kuwait was helping Iraq(before Saddam showed his true face), and Iran (and their loyal spies/fanatics inside Kuwait) didn't like it.

Currently, the situation is peaceful at the political front, but in reality it's still the same, now with their nuclear plans and what not. It occurred more than once that Iran threatened to fill the Arabian gulf with blood and fire.
They must lose their power.

I know it's not a war, I was just trying to outline how vastly different the two situations are.

So, is anybody here good at chugging?

I'm getting better, I can get half of a 24oz bottle with out swallowing before I drown.
