I have always loved these games they are all awesome. So I thought you guys might enjoy the topic too.

I hate Dante too much to like any of them.

I have all of them, but I've really only played the 1st in depth, so I'm gonna have to go for it.

What the hell was the point of the first game? There was like some mission you were hired out for, and that bitch jumps past the Goddamn house, but you have to go through it. What the hell?

Then when you get out.... End of the goddamn game.

I kept asking myself "When am I going to get to the fun part of the mother #####ing game?".

Well guess what. I never #####ing got there, so screw Devil may Cry.

HEY GUYS I LIKE VIDEO GAMES

I love ninjas dhuhoo hoo hoo har hoo hee haw.

I have to vote for Devil May Cry 4, seeing as it is the only one in the series that I have played.

Only played/owned the 1st. Have yet to beat it.

I've played the first one for a maximum of one hour.

So that, I guess.

I watched someone try to fight the first boss. I've thought the game was bad ever since.

I heard Dante isn't in the fourth one.

My friend says the story loses him, and that it doesn't make sense.

I punched him for such a redundant remark.

He's there, but I'm not quite sure how exactly you play as him. I'm six chapters into DMC 4, and I've only played as Nero. Dante is definitely in the game, the opening scenes have him in a totally badass fight with Nero.

Edit: Hell, the opening fight between Nero and Dante alone is worth the money that you paid for the game.

You start to play as him on the 12th mission to the end of the game.

The story makes perfect sense also.

I own the first 3 (got the first 2 cheap and got given the third's Special Edition for free from a Lost and Found box, brand new.) The first one is the best in my opinion.

Never got into the series and don't plan on doing so. But IMO Nero and Dante look too much alike, stuip move.

But they're supposed to look alike!

There's probably a good reason why they look alike.

I tried the demo, it's fun, but I won't be able to get it for a while..

I bought it and it's now in my pile of dust-gathering unplayed games.

Yes, but they use it in juxtaposition. Something like "The only thing more unique than Nero is his gun the Blue Rose". It can clearly be inferred, then, that they're asserting Nero's uniqueness.

Much the same as Scorpion, Sub-zero, Ermac, Rain, Noob Saibot, and Smoke are unique characters with only cursory similarities.

What Mike is getting at is that it takes TIME to be established as the black sheep.

I'd say trying to be the black sheep pretty much exempts you from being one anyway.

I have a cousin who always talks about how he's our families black sheep. The irony of this being that he has said conversations with... my family.

If you're talking to us about how you're an outcast, obviously you're not.
