As you know, in MMX6 Mega uses the Z-saber but when Zero returns you still have a saber for some reason. does X have his own saber to? or is a glitch? or does Zero let him use it, I don't know.

X6 is one giant plothole, so it doesn't really matter. Zero's new saber is probably just a spare saber he picked up somewhere in the series, like Colonel's but with a green blade, since it doesn't behave or look like the Z Saber from earlier games.

X has a Saber now because he wanted to be cool like Zero.

And he sucks at using it.

Hell, I got my buster from wal mart

1. Wal-Mart is #####ing evil, and giving them money makes you a horrible person.

2. The busters at Wal-Mart suck serious ass, since it's all bottom of the line.

You gotta special order one from BMW if you want a really nice one.

Honda makes some good ones, too, but BMW is the top of top of the line.

X is still using Zero's saber because he feels like it and Zero apparently doesn't care to take it back.

Why does everyone think that Zero only has one saber?

In the X series it was never stated, but in the Zero series he had like.. 20+

They have different armors, why wouldn't he have multiple sabres? It doesn't make sense for the Maverick Hunters to not have weapons lockers.

About getting Buster's at Wal-Mart, all I had to do was stop by the movie theatre to get the crappy buster for FREE.

Energy sabers use a crystalline matrix fuel to power the blade.

This is a long lasting fuel, but it deteriorates during use.
In the X series the rate of deterioration is probably constant, so interference (striking targets) shouldn't decrease the lifespan any faster.

Zero does not start out with an energy saber; he gets it in X2 (or X3?). It is brand new and shiny, and perhaps the strongest of its kind.

It is of note that it can output enough power to destroy most reploids in one or two hits.
This means that in one pass, the blade can actually tear through thick armor.

Later in the games, X4 and on, the blade's power continually decreases, increasing the number of hits required to tear through armor and strike sensitive parts.

Zero probably gets a new blade every now and then past X6, although none of them seem to be as strong as his original (perhaps Wily made that blade?).

Looking past that theoretical BS, I think Zero likes swords, and he collects them and uses each new one, but he keeps his first one because he loves it, and it has pajamas and a glass of milk before bed.

In Command Mission he equips different sabers, where as X equips different attachments to his regular buster. So naturally, Zero just gets multiple sabers.

Everyone knows that the original saber has been retired and remade into a bong.

This is why zero slowly loses interest in everything, and when the Z series came out, he not only needed a new body, He didn't remember one damn thing, and he was wearing womens underwear.

And he also became anorexic.

Thus equaling a dumb series.

If there's armor and attachments for X, then why didn't they ever incorporate a way to get a stronger saber for zero? (e.g. upgrade capsules, or a shop)

Other types of weapons don't count.

Because Zero is Aryan and they don't quite like that.

Really though, I assume that as they discover tech to make a stronger saber the enemies are also upgrading. Besides, the strength of a sword isn't in the metal (or... what, photons?), it's in the wielder.

I guess that makes some sense, but does that mean over the years zero has been getting rusty?
