Title: Art of the Depths Post by: Nautilus on 26 March 2008, 21:26:00 Well, I've been following other people's artwork, and I figured that I'd give my hand a try. SO here's the first piece of fan work I've done in a long time, I must apologize for being brief but work is calling yet again.
Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: preventerWIND on 26 March 2008, 21:47:40 Looks good, only because you have talent. But the design for him....
:'( Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: Abominator on 26 March 2008, 21:54:13 Pretty decent, but yeah, it's a bit generic or uninspired.
I've actually started drawing again. One day I might put stuff up. Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: Nautilus on 27 March 2008, 02:16:45 Yeah, I'll second the design part. Just trying out some new skills with the marker, I think it turned out ok. I was going to be much more ambitious, but really I just wanted to doodle. Thanks for the input.
Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: Mikero on 27 March 2008, 02:28:05 You need better structure 'cause there's problems throughout but it's a neat style.
Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: Nautilus on 20 April 2008, 17:12:09 A link...
http://evidence-of-tim.deviantart.com/ Posted on: 4 April 2008, 01:41:50 Alright, I know it's not good to revive dead threads or to double post for that matter, but I wanted to post this up here and I really didn't think it was worth starting a new topic over. So, my apologies for the inconvenience, and I hope you enjoy. I needed an avatar and this is what came out. Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: Abominator on 20 April 2008, 17:17:44 Seriously, there is no harm in "reviving" a topic that's not even a month old when you're posting perfectly relevant content in it.
Especially when it's your own topic. Anyway, that's pretty cool. It looks like Launch Octopus' dad. Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: Winged Warrior on 25 April 2008, 23:37:19 Yeah, It's when people double post comments like "nise site" or "grate artwurk"
Or tiny one word sentence opinions that get abe to use his axe of +3 bannage (with an added 1d6 cold damage~!) I like the artwork, Despite the "simple design" to your first one, I think it's a good base, and a fresh start. I have seen far to many people use characters with more than necessary powers, attachments, and groin bulging. Keep it up. Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: Johncarllos on 26 April 2008, 00:02:53 I look at the first one again.
Needs a codpiece that doesn't protrude as much. Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: Winged Warrior on 26 April 2008, 02:12:49 You, John, the manliest of the manly should know that that's a wimpy codpiece.
His should be the size of a riding lawn mower. Title: Re: Art of the Depths Post by: Mikero on 26 April 2008, 05:03:14 I'm just trying to figure out why it's pointy.
