I had a big Psych research paper to write, 8 pages. Today was the day that we bring in our rough drafts to the teacher so that she can give us advice on what to do for the final draft, due in two weeks.

The other day I went over to my friends for a while, on a weekday, in the next city. Risque. Then, after that I happened to park in front of a car with a neat licence plate, it was pretty funny since I was talking to my friend about Metroid for a while. So I took a snapshot.

Prime 2 is the only Prime game I didn't play, and from what I hear I'm not missing out. 1 and 3 were enjoyable in their own right, but they weren't the Super Metroid I fell in love with as a kid.

I didn't know there was an NES Metroid 'till Prime came out, though. Or a Game Boy one, for that matter.

It's the only Prime I did play other than the Hunters demo, and it was aaaawwwwfuuuulllll.

I had fun with Hunters, but it got boring near the end. I didn't really like the online.

I liked Fusion.

It was pretty linear, I give it that, but I actually enjoyed the text segments, especially when Samus was putting her thoughts together.

You don't play Metroid for text.
You play it to explore and break the game out of sequence so badly the original designers don't even recognize it.

You can't do that in Fusion, so meh.

Dane Cook, Billy Joel, and the Pachelbel's Rant all on my iPod makes me happy.

I have Dane Cook on my iPod but only because I purchased it a while back and feel it's stupid to delete it. But my taste in comedy has evolved past him. Yours will, too. He isn't that great.

Billy Joel, though, hell yes.

I like his act, but I'm not an over-obsessed maniac like some of my friends.  I have various tastes in comedy, like Demetri Martin, Brian Regan, hearing Abe go off about haggis.

DK64 is the only post-DKC3 Donkey Kong game I've ever enjoyed.

DK64 was awesome, but I don't know if I can ever manage to get 101% (or is it 102%?) in that game ever again.

I don't know how but I managed to 100% many games like DK64 back then... Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie... Three of them made by Rare, <_<.

To bring it back to Metroid Fusion for a sec. I didn't mind it. Although it was waaay too linear, it wasn't awful.

The SA-X or whatever was kind of creepy, in that if you ever tried to fight it you were basically completely ravaged. It was like the Predator or something. The time when you had to run through like six rooms and use the super bomb to get through a wall and then ball up and go into a little barely noticeable when in panic hole while the SA-X was chasing you was frickin' heart pounding #####.

But I never finished the game.
