Thats right, that whole ZX3 (Extremus) rumor was true after all. The story is from Protodudes Rockman Corner.

Rumors sent in by the infamous "Anonymous"

-Anon confirms the existence ZXE (ZX Extremus). Will be released after RnR3.
-ZXE will be a prequel/sequel to ZX. Players will take on the role of either a young Prometheus or Pandora.

-The beginning of the game will deal with the lives of P&P before they became Rockmen.
-An hour or so into the game, the story then shifts to the time gap between ZX and ZXA. P&P are tasked with finding potential Rockmen who can surpass the abilities displayed by ZX. These potential Rockmen are the bosses of the game.

-Anon claims to have seen the game in it's earliest form. Says it looks almost identical to ZX and ZXA, however the environments of the game are very "lively."

-Capcom is kicking around the idea of a unique game play mechanic called the 'Dynamic Weather System' (DWS). The weather throughout the world is always changing at a random pace. Weather will affect the layout of the stage (ala Zero 4) and the behavior of bosses and enemies and even the performance of P&P.

-"Dreams" will be the main theme of the game. P&P will be haunted by numerous dreams (and some nightmares) as the story progresses. Apparently, these are actually playable events.

-The final boss of the game is a "surprise."

-Unfortunately, it appears ZXE will not continue the story after the ZXA.

-A preview of the events in the game appear in the newly released ZX Gigamix soundtrack's drama tracks. Guess what? He's(Anonymous) right.

-''Extremus" may not be the final name of the game.

If its true, than Dr. Light is going to go into his little corner and cry for making something great that eventually became so horrible. Then, he'll wonder where it all went wrong and realize it started with the blueberry muffins he ate the morning he decided to create robots in the first place. Damned muffins.

And let's pretend for a moment, this might be true.  When was adding random stage elements to make things different ever good?  Look at that Nightmare BS from X6.  Using random elements to add diversity or replay is pretty damn poor game design.

No lie, I think it would be fun to play a MegaMan game that had every boss and every level in it from MM 1-6, and you just pressed a button and it randomized which level you play for you.

And you could only use the Buster, and there are small tweaks like whether or not you can slide or charge depending on which game the level is from.

Mike used to throw these out constantly so one day I saw the book at Barnes & Noble or Borders or wherever I was and got it on a whim after reading a select few fantastic pages.

Yeah but he basically doesn't do them anymore. He's supposed to update monthly but I don't think he does.

There's a small handful of strips that aren't in that book because they were added afterwards, and I noticed at least two updates via browsing over time.
I don't know if he has a schedule, but every once in a while a new one does show up.

It used to be weekly, then it went to monthly. I've heard rumour that it's completely done but there's no proof of that.

-Within the next year, Capcom will be remaking several "classic" titles for PSN and XBLA. No specifics of what titles are getting remade, but RM titles are given.

I can assume XBLA is Xbox Live (What does the "A" stand for?), but what the hell is a PSN? Nintendo Playstation?

XBOX Live Arcade is where you can get the games offered on XBOX Live. Plain old "XBOX Live" is just the name of the entire online service, be it playing online or checking out the marketplace.

PSN is PlayStation Network, the PS3's equivalent.

Sounds like ass to me.  All that "Live" and "PSN" ##### is just that.  ##### digital copies.  I want a disc in a sweet case.  Otherwise there's no reason to not just #####ing pirate it.  Things are bad enough as is.  Though at least at some point I'll probably have a PS3 so if they do new remakes I'll still get to play them.  I'll quit playing video games before I ever buy a 360.

And if it's MMPU on the 360/PS3 and not the Wii/PSP then I'll have a breakdown.

The Wii port isn't that bad.

I've played the cell phone MegaMan 1. It should've been warning enough not to buy MegaMan 2 a year later, but... alas. At least in MM1 for cell phones there was more than one control scheme, and even though none of them rendered the game playable, there were still options. MM2 is just entirely unplayable with one set scheme.

Anyway, my point is that... GutsMan THROWS rocks in the Cell phone version, he doesn't shoot them, so that kid is still an idiot.

Also, QuickMan's level is a complete joke in the cell phone version. The beams are like 1/4th of the regular speed, and it's almost impossible to get hit by one.
You can get every single power-up on the way down without using FlashMan's weapon.

However, the game is unplayable so you can't beat QuickMan.

Anyway, my point is that... GutsMan THROWS rocks in the Cell phone version, he doesn't shoot them, so that kid is still an idiot.

YES the game is virtually unplayable and yes, i played it for 10 minutes and got bored, but SERIOUSlY, i do not remeber saying the Cell Phone Version was better...
