I saw this (http://freakshow6.deviantart.com/art/Mega-Man-Meme-94916908) on DeviantART, basically it's one of those meme things but I thought it might be fun to do here, and this is really the only appropriate place on the whole internet for anything MM related anyway. I'd like to do this but I've not been very into drawing with the mouse lately, so I want to draw it all seperately and take pictures and such, and I don't have the time for that right now. But I really want to do this.

I'm drawing it normal (Is that like "old school" now?) as well. It lends for better results, for me, and I can do it on break.

For the "What's the Worst Weapon" one, I was gonna' draw MegaMan hesitating to kill AIDSMan. But I really liked "get equipped with heart" better.

It totally made me think of that one kid from Captain Planet.

He was the pussy of the group, and among the Planeteers, that's quite the feat.

I lol'd at the Roll part, I'll be making mine soon.

I couldn't stop giggling when I was drawing SnakeMan. I really thought that was hilarious. I can't say why.

And I drew the pig on a complete whim, and I thought it was funny just like that.

Gear, Vanish or Carnival. Actually, you can do more than one. So do so.

Gear Man is just a less sharp Metal Man. Same for Chill Man (another ice bot) and Thorn Man (another plant bot).

Toxic Man was one I was gonna do (same name and everything) just so I could draw MM with a gas mask but I scrapped the idea, far too typical. You should scrap it too.

Carnival Man has possibilities as does Vanish Man.

I think I'll work on Carnival Man, I guess.

I've worked on a lot of robot master ideas, the MegaMan comics had a lot of new ones, they were pretty awesome alone but didn't really have a MM feel to it.

Express Man, Barrage Man etc. All awesome.

Alright, basically I've been working on my style and I have it pretty much perfected, I'll have the drawings to be uploaded tomorrow. And depending on whether or not I have a computer to go on, it should all be uploaded tomorrow.

Hard to draw in stiff and completely wrong poses like that. I did not want to colour it at all, but definitely had to.


Swift Woman ("she's fast ;-P") was originally going to have straight straight straight blonde hair and look something more like an 80's punk rock (or 2008's Lo-Fi) girl mixed with Harley Quinn of Batman fame, but the idea ended up looking like I was ripping off Daphne from Heroes. So I scrapped the hair, but kept a bit of Harley. I'm already redesigning her look, I think I can find a way to make it work out a different way.

Colouring her was a bitch too. She started out an electric teal (trying to going off of a Quicksilver vibe). I later experimented with purples. I really didn't want to go to red at all but it's so definitively speedster. The Flash(es), Daphne, Quick Man... So I went with upping the gold/orange/yellow area over the red to get away from that as much as possible. I like what came out in the end though, she's still coloured like someone fast without looking too forced into it.


It just turned out that my favourite three RMs have big facial blades of a sort that I could exaggerate.

I especially love 1830's American Railroad Industrialist Man.

Don't forget that he's gastroparesic! That's an important part of his tooting powers!

Yeah I hear that, couldn't think of anything for a while. It boiled down to having to pick how it would help MM over what kind of animal it was first. Figuring out a power for it is arduous enough in that there's not many things an animal helper could do that hasn't been done already.

And I LOVE the Metal/Gyro/ShadowMan drawing. I demand a full-size version.

I can give bigger size in colour. Full size is not in colour, as I scaled each image a lot before colouring, and then scaled again into the final image.

I love the box art the most. I like the facial expressions for the other ones too.

So yeah, turns out my new Mega Man style has been mastered, and it looks a lot like my old one and some of Mike's robot masters up there. Having the same hand style, and the shape of the body and junk.

I'm almost done, I chose my 3 robot masters, I have an animal helper (WHICH IS GOING TO BE #####ING AMAZING) and a design in mind for Roll(which I'm sure the lot of you will LUV). I don't really do the whole bad and #####ing stupid game cover, so I might do the whacky off colour Mega Man 3-6 game cover sort of thing. It will be mad crazy though, expect oddities!
