They say it images from from ''SSB4'' , but later on it was also said that it could be a SSBB modification as well, similar to "Project M". Hope am not breaking any forum rules here.

Great post, mang. Haven't seen you for a long while.
I also learned how to type properly because of this place. I specifically remember Ares getting me to do it.
#####, when I was younger I told myself that I would still come here and post everyday. I feel bad when I remember this place and then don't come to check for new posts...
Your not missing much. xD

I'm pretty sure Dr. Light's hologram is sentient and it can place capsules wherever it wants to. Then again, the X series's story just goes at whatever direction it feels like.
I've been splurging on Megaman a lot lately. The past 2 weeks I completed Megaman 8, X4, X5, Xtreme, and also Legends.
Most fun I would have if I owned them all.

Unless theres some sort of motivation then I fear no co op. When it hit the console mark funds suddenly skyrocketed for a day or so, yesterday, well, was rather slow day in comparison to other days. Or unless they cut off other goals in favor for co op. Anyways, I would be happy with it if it can reach the "extra boss" goal, co op would be a +. EDIT: Well, as of 9/21/2013, according to this "trending" , by the end of the month would would be close to $3,500,000... Click on the [exp] projection red tab, Range: Low: $2,600,000 - High: $3,000,000 . http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/mightyno9/mighty-no-9/#chart-daily

Ppl be trolling saying that the last "?" is to buy the MegaMan rights. xD . Other then that they want to port it to Vita and 3DS but, like always, cost is in the way, personally I would like it on the 3DS.
EDIT: 2M reached, guess dat Rush Mode is in.
UPDATE: Less then 90,000 away for the X360/PS3/WiiU version.

But... Will it motivate the fans to place any trust in them? A few loyal ones want Capcom to mimic this success with their own kickstarter... But I have a quarrel with trusting them with any of my hard earned money, and I have the feeling that I'm probably not the minority in this. If the whole idea is that this will enlighten Capcom to the profitability of Megaman, I'm inclined to believe that they'll once again place the promise of profit well ahead of the merit of producing something of quality.
If it was Legends 3 I would, but then agian Capcom has the money to do soooo....... EDIT: When I said encouragement I meant maybe Capcom can give MegaMan a chance. EDIT2: Must be nice to be a baller and put down 10G and a dinner with Inafune. =.=. And new goals added. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/mighty-no-9/posts/593460?ref=activity

Dunno if this topic is considered "dead" by now, but, I got this game as well and its the most fun I had in a while, and the main reason why I got it was, well, X and Zero are in it, but what I want to ask here is what Solo Char best works with them? Currently I have Tron on em.

MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: So whats going to happen to the X Series?
|

I say we spam Capcom with this kind of content in it: Well, plotwise the series is outright ruined. The only possible salvation is retcon or ignore X5-X8.
X9 would have to have the following to even ATTEMPT a comeback:
1) 2D. 3D does not work. Psudo 3D/2D dose not work. Leave 3D to the series that were built to run in it (Legends so far).
2) Return to finger numbing platform action gameplay. Greatly related to point 1, get rid of the awful theme levels and go back to the basics that defined the games, much like MM9 has (though Classic didn't stray NEARLY as much as X had).
3) Sigma has to be involved as the villian. Sigma is as much a part of the X series as Wily is Classic. If not as the main force behind the plot, he needs to be have substancial involvement.
4) X or Zero, choose. The X series has come to be defined by it's two stars. While extra playables in Classic feel tacked on, X and Zero have the sort of synergy that doesn't come around often. They're the pefect partners, balances to each other and offer legitament play style differences that gives more play value. Much like in X4, I think you should get to pick from X or Zero, and play the game through as that character. X being normal difficulty, with his ranged attacks and Zero hard mode since he's up close melee. That being said, Axl has no place as he offers nothing X can't do and does nothing but disrupt the dynamic duo's synergy and feeling of teamwork.
5) Lose the unnecessary complexity. Keep it to hidden heart tanks and sub tanks. Lose the shop, it does nothing to the gameplay but add grinding. Hidden stuff is still good, such as enviroment effects depending on stage order (like X1). I'm not averse to "chips" to modify abilities like in X5 and X6, but not from random rage inducing "save the reploids" crap. Maybe something more akin to the CDs from Mega Man and Bass or just outright hiding them in stages to find. Alternate paths would also be fine if kept simple.
Basically, keep most of the early games stuff, and pick and choose the extras from the later games that actually added something. But given how much more the X series is being pissed on by MMZ/ZX in terms of continuity and having to conform to it, I think the chances of an X revival like Classic (that actually works) is highly unlikely. Sadly.
Tho Capcom might not give a rat's butt cheeks even tho they claim they "listen in" to "fans".

"What are you talking about?! ...what's up... ...why do you... ............................. ...I don't know exactly why... ...but I know what you are thinking. You told me once before right? There are things that cannot be correctly analyzed as data? We have to feel, there are things that we can only feel. I feel it very strongly now. All right... I'll accept you're challenge."
Yes, I can understand why your jaw dropped. That is very clearly the writing of a genius.
I was referring the battle spites, but, WHAT EVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT GOOD SIR!
