Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are YOU getting for Christmas?

I would like to get a laptop with GOW for Pc, but if not then I would like to get a DS Lite with a few games.
Santa gave me coal one year, but stopped doing that after I used the coal he gave me to start a fire in the fire place next Christmas.
Hey I just though of a question I would like to ask Abominator. How and why does your avatar constantly change?

Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Some games you may not remember( or ever heard of)

The only reason Gex sucked was because of its retarded camera. Mishcief Makers is VERY unknown, especially to today's average gamers. I have never played Commander Keen but I heard it was from the rival company of Jazz Jackrabbit. The Original Rayman isn't known as well as today's piece o' crap rayman games. Gex is also very unknown because it had little popularity when it came out and it had but 3 or 4 games. Posted on: 17 December 2007, 02:02:34
I used to play Dragon Quest Monsters (the original one) on gameboy all the time. I played the gameboy version of Conker as well.
Rayman (the original one) was always one of my favourite games, and so was Jazz Jackrabbit; which was probably the first game I ever played online.
Here's an awesome series that very few people played: Commander Keen.
Lol, the gameboy version of Conker is absolutely NOTHING compared to the N64 version. And I will put it like this. In the gameboy version, you had to run around talking to the cute and furry woodland creatures, shooting enemies with your slingshot and collecting stuff and things like that. Then our little Conker grew up and made it to the N64, where he slapped the hell out of people with his frying pan, getting drunk and pissing on people at the clubs, and even going so far as to joinging the army and robbing a bank(matrix style of course)

There's a code that eliminates all weeds when you press L+R.
Lol, that is a noobish thing of hackers when it comes to Animal Crossing. You are simply talking about the Action Replay DS. Which, although fun to use, does not offer the same qualities to Animal Crossing as does the Action Replay Duo, the device used to upload your saves to your computer.

I have Shining Force on a GBA.. alternative. I don't know if it's the same as the one you mentioned. I remember most of those games you said, but not all of them were good and I didn't play all of them.
Conker was dope though. The original, not Xbox. But it is widely known, and Dragon Quest Monsters 2, and Wario Land are as well.
Yes, the Shining Force on the GBA is pretty much the same thing, but with more features. I know the Wario Land is widely known, but I think that is mostly because of Wario Land 4, and the Conker on the 64 was awesome, screw that Xbox crap they called a game. Posted on: 16 December 2007, 08:10:59
I do have one more game to add to this list that next to no one has ever heard of. Jazz Jackrabbit

Well , and this is probably just me, but when playing SKATE I fell like it's just a simple everyday world where nothing unusual is taking place. But when I play Tony Hawk, I feel like I'm playing a videogame.

Man I remember playing these games all the time, but no one ever heard of them.
Dragon Quest Monsters 2:Tara's and Cobi's Adventures(two seperate games) for GBC Mischief Makers for N64 Conkers Bad Fur Day for N64 Doubutsu no Mori for N64 Glover for N64 Gex: Enter the Gecko for Playstation Rayman for Playstation Wario Land(1,2, and 3) for GBC Shining Force (can't rember which system, I had it on a collectors edition PC disc) Dokapon Monster Hunter for GBA
Every single one of those games are not widely known, but these games are some of the funnest games I have ever played. I think the most popular ones on there are the Wario Land games and Doubutsu no Mori(known in America as Animal Crossing)

I know what he meant, I was commenting on what he said.
Yeah I didn't notice how I had typed that until now. I should have said I like SKATE better than any Tony Hawk game I ever played. Anyways.... SKATE is an awesome game compared to Proving Grounds. Why? Because, SKATE is more casual than Proving Grounds.

MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: Would YOU pay 15 MILLION for a Legends 3?
|
on: 16 December 2007, 07:43:12
|
I want Mega Man 9 a HELL of a lot more than Legends 3, but I pray they never make it. Why?
All I want is 8 robot masters, some solid arcade platforming stages with distinct flavor (flavor =/= forced stage gameplay themes) and a good simple "Wily attacks again" to tie it all together. But we won't get that. Every stage will be some poorly designed "theme" (speeder bike, fixed scroll ceiling crush, giant robot chase you, etc, etc) which kills the fast paced platforming and some horrendous "ZOMG WILY MAKES ZERO SOMEDAY MEGAMAN WILL BE AN ELF" bad fan fiction plot to tie it into the other abortions Capcom has made post MMZ/ZX.
And so too will the case be with Legends 3. The first two games are solid gold. But they're dead. let them rest in peace. Legends 3 will be just as bad as ZX, Starforce and MMZ. Inafune and Capcom have lost the magic and are too bogged down in a putrid continuity to ever make the game Legends 3 deserves to be.
I always considered "Megaman and Bass" as a Megaman 9.

MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Which Stages were most pleasing to two of your senses?

I'm surprised he doesn't chop his own arms off on a daily basis.
Just because his name is Cutman doesn't make him emo does it? I really like Swordman's stage in terms of visual, although i could never figure out why. As for sound, I can't decide between three stages: Aquaman Astroman Tenguman (Yeah, I know it's all Megaman 8 stuff, I only got into two megaman classic games, 7 and 8.) But if I HAD to choose one, I would have to pick Aquaman's stage.

Anybody remeber how sweet DJSonic's avatar was? How about that awesome vampire princess peach? Man I really wish Mchat were back. And what ever happened to that popping noise you could make in MChat. I think you had to type *pop* or something like that.

Wow, saying it was over advertised is funny because i have never seen a single ad for skate, although I did buy it and I like it a WHOLE LOT better than any other Tony Hawk game i have ever played. My favorite part is the control scheme.
