For one  thing it is spelled Metroid and that is not the chars name it is Samus Aron also the main char is female. I have also included some of my own screen shots.

Also, Omega was just Zero's BODY. He was not the original Zero, they just used his empty dead body. It's kind of like how whatever essence you pretend to have is clearly inhabiting a corpse with three fingers and 1.5 eyes.

Look for megaman x anime movie on youtube. Right in the begging it shows how sigma got the virus as well as how many reploid corpses laid around zero

What I'm asking, is where you get the idea that Zero has ever actually TRULY appeared as a Maverick in Megaman X canon.  In which I only remember you ever seeing Zero with blood on his hands and that's all.

And no, Maverick Hunter X continuity does not count. It is an entirely seperate timeline so that Day Of Sigma garbage is just that, garbage.

If you play X5 and Zero goes Maverick, then you did it wrong and that doesn't go into continuity either, but really X5 isn't great anyway and putting it and any X game thereafter into continuity is questionable.
