I HIGHLY doubt it's Battle Network. They ended it, so this "fan speculation" is just that.

I also doubt it's Star Force since SF isn't "old". It better be either X or Legends.

Alright, so here's what you do.

First you have to go to the Canadnet area 2, and collect CAdata.
Then make your way to the USnet area 3, fight Bushman.exe, and collect the USdata.
You want to avoid cubanet all together, and take the panama canal portal to SouAmeriNet.

Once you collect all the datas, you take them to the judge. He will infect your computer with a virus that you have to delete... ya know, to test your abilities.

as soon as you defeat the Netsky A, B, and C viruses, you'll be told that the application can be found in the now unlocked Anartinet, which can be accessed from SouAmerinet area 3.

Actually mike, you can get to cubanet through the Us mainframe if you are careful...

... but it's very risky. and you'll be automatically deleted if you are caught.

If it's an "old" series it won't be Star Force or ZX, as they're both "current".  The rules for the contest will probably be a good tell which series it will be for since you obviously wouldn't be designing Robot Masters for an X game or Navis for a Classic game.  Though to be honest, out of our choices, Only Classic, X or Legends hold any intrest for me.  Zero was absolute ##### and I doubt Battle Network will be any better than 4-6.  Of course you can say the same for X, but seeing what they did with MM9, I have some faith X can be brought back to something that resembles the formor absolute win the series used to be.

I don't think it's Battle Network at all, and I know it's not ZX or Starfroce. Last I heard, they said ZX was a failure while they continued dur-durring on Starforce. I guess it could be Classic, but they already revived it with Mega Man 9. I think it's gotta be X or Legends. I'm hoping it's Legends.

That goat looking boss was from Star Force 2, and was the winner from the last boss design contest for SF2. I'm guessing that other guy next to it was also from that contest and might have been a runner up or something so those can just be examples of previous contests they had. Hopefully it's not another Star Force game, I can't handle it anymore
