Pressing "Back" now removes 'New'

Until now, every time I press the back button I still had all the 'new' things on the page which took me to the newest post I hadn't read yet.
There were cons to this, if I didn't remember which topic I'd just read, I could accidentally re-click it and waste my precious time.
Now, if I click "back", the page updates to show me only topics I haven't read yet.
It's nice.
I'm not sure if it's a new feature in the browser, to refresh pages I've backed up to instead of re-loading them entirely from memory, or if it's something Abe did.
Please, discuss.

Um...
OK.
(This is me saying "Why make a thread for this?" in a dick manner.)

Yeah, I've noticed this.
At first I was all like, "But I just read that thread!" and it turns out someone just posted in it. Usually, it still doesn't show New even if someone did post.

... sounds like a browser update to me, unless there's some bizarre new retroactive function that reloads the page when you press the back button, instead of reading it from cache.

Yes, but I'm using FireFox and it doesn't do that for me (I wouldn't want it to).
... so weird.

I stopped using back like, on my first year on the matrix, because of clicking new on an already read topic. I just click the category name(Like, MMM General Forum or The Creation Station), and if there's nothing, I click on "The MBoard"

I haven't changed anything so it must be on your browser.
