one (sometimes) automatically kills you. the other have ridiculously annoying patterns. which are worse?

With spikes, I just make note of them when I see them.

... but when I hear that stupid block noise I always let out a curse (even if I know the pattern well).

Also, those blocks usually lead into spikes if you fall.

I've played a MM3 endless stage hack, where if you went the wrong way in one stage you'd fight the Yellow Devil in a room with no way out. It was suicide.

And after he died, he would come back to life, with a different pattern.. I killed him 3 times before I died..

Didn't play the hack, but I watched a video of it.

In my opinion, the hack looks better than the actual game.
