Zero 2 or 3, but I picked 2. Love the first three, haven't fully played the fourth.

Zero 1, I could never nail the chain swing thing in Zero 2 (played with the gameboy adapter on the 'cube. D pad made it impossible.)

What you have described is hell on earth.
I've only played the first of these, but from what I've seen of the others none of them are worth playing.

I'll break the game.

... How about we just kill you?

Having one game, and it's one of these. There's no way to win here.

I played Zero 3 before and it annoyed me, and the only thing that makes me want Zero 3-4 in the SLIGHTEST is the extra boss battles in Mega Man ZX when you have the game in your DS.

Of course, in this scenario, I'm not allowed to have ZX. Plus I hear both aren't that good anyway.

I hear from WIND that MMZ2 is the best, but I'd probably rather take a shot at MMZ1.

At least when I pass judgment I test out everything. Go try Z1-2, you're probably not going to like them, but give them a shot before you condemn the series to hell.

I've played all 4 of them.

All of them except for the 1st one, I beat I think 2 or  3 bosses, and then quit from the boringness/cheapness of every level/boss/dialogue/story/cutscenes/everything.

Yeah, I just don't like Mega Man platformers on the GBA in general. The screen is too small and it makes playing the games annoying.

I replayed Mega Man & Bass recently and yes, I got annoyed here and there because I couldn't see where I was going. The games aren't built for the system.

Plus I'm most likely not going to spend my money on any Mega Man games at the moment unless it involves Mega Man Wily Wars or Mega Man's Soccer on the virtual console.

Just once. Never played it again.

Although I actually liked it, I have no desire to play the others.

I beat the first three once each. I hated all of them, but the second was-for unknown/forgotten reasons-the least odious experience for me.

Oh, I beat it. Don't ever again say to me that I didn't, or I'll salt you.

I never thought of salt as chemical warfare before.

Two years later: Orange Devil is wondering which Zero game to play.

Good thing he has the ultimate Megaman resource at his finger tips!

Thanks MegaMan Matrix

(By the way, I decided to play MMZ1)

I bought the MMZ Collection because of the amazing audio improvements from GBA to DS and for no other reason.  And I don't even LIKE most of the music in the Zero series!  HA!

Why can't Nintendo do this for Metroid Zero Mission?  I'd love a proper audio update for that one!

Random but I finally got to play through all Zero games thanks to MMZ Collection. I only played it on Easy Mode but I had fun. Don't really want to play them again though.

I tried playing on easy mode on the Collection, but there was this one stupid part in MMZ2 that required you to hit an enemy perfectly into a wall to destroy it, and it was a cramped space with a bunch of random things blocking the wall you had to break.

It was one of the last levels if I remember right. It was just annoying, I stopped there and never played again. Two health bars doesn't fix horrible level design. Oh well.

MMZ and I just don't mix, at all. As much as I try to enjoy it, I can't. I #####ing can't stand it. Maybe I'll try it again eventually, when I literally have nothing to do and want to torture myself.

Don't force yourself to play something you hate.  We ALL want to love a series that stars Zero.  MMZ is abysmal though.  No shame in just not liking it.  Play X4 if you want to play a Zero game, it's virtually perfect.
