Well, I just can't wait for them to remake MMZ1.

INCLUDES:
- Vent and Aile from MMZX with their ZX models and other useless ZX things!
- No real effort!

The good news? Their sprites are already ##### remakes of Zero's.  SEAMLESS!
The bad news? The #####ing ranking system is still here!

Looks like the gameplay improved just a tiny bit to me.

But it's still practically nothing.

Oh wow. They used his Mugshot from BN3 instead of making a new one.

Also, same music? Game is worthless now.

I'm just glad that stop-time chips actually do damage during the time they've stopped moving, and not after. It kinda adds to the fun when your opponent is getting smacked around. It would've been a little nice to have the Star Force theme in GBA-esc music though, or Battle Network in Star Force (mainly the former).

Why "mainly the former"? I wouldn't want any Starforce anything in BN, especially music.

So, I listened to the themes they had in the demo.

No, it's not the same music, it's actually worse. It's dull.

Hah, this better just be a placeholder for the real music. Or else this is the biggest joke of a Mega Man game they've made since Battle Chip Challenge.

It sounds the same to me, but since the GBA has 1 speaker and the DS has two, I'd take a guess and say that might have something to do with it and they might have modified it...

It's still Star Force AND a remake, so I will boycott.

A remake would mean they're upgrading it with new graphics, music, etc.

This has none. The only thing it has is * coded chips. Even the Add button works the same.

It's a port with an extra scenario thrown in. And Chaos, it has nothing to do with the speakers, the instruments are different, but they're horrible.

Just go here and have a listen if you want.

Apparently the guy making this wants to continue, so that means BN2's gonna get #####ed up with StarForce retardation too.

I still can't tell much of a difference, but I do sense it. Especially with the internet theme.

The original is still better.

AND THE ZX SCENARIO LASTS 10 MINUTES AND IS ONLY ONE EXTRA MISSION!

That Star Force part in this game is only 30 minutes long at the most. Pretty sad since they advertised it like it was SO BIG. The rest is a port of BN1 with no armors, and #####ty downgraded music.

I haven't played it, but if I could post what Nova Man told me over AIM about it, it's this:

"It's not bad, just not worth the $30+"

In other words, it's a waste of your money. As for a waste of time, you be the judge.

I don't think I said it was worth playing, since it's BN1 all over again, I just said it wasn't a BAD game by any means... but I already own the game for the GBA.

AND they "fixed" some elements of gameplay.  And by fixed I mean nerfed.  ##### that.  If I want game breakingly broken folders and ADD ADD ADD ADD ADD I will damn well have it.  Internet maps are not worth the gimping.

I think I only liked the ADD button change, although at the same time I never cared for 15 chips. I'm okay with 10.

What at LEAST needed to be changed was damaging when you use a chip that freezes time. When they started doing that in BN2, the game felt a lot smoother.

All they did was make your opponent "shake" when they were hit.

I'm sure the game is good (and that's being fairly nice), but why would you play it when there are better games out there? The original one still does a better job.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the folder rules changing!

They decided to give us the BN3+ rules, yet we still get BN1's pretty bleh library, leading to an annoying folder editing process.

Also, the ADD button was ruined. I was hoping it'd be like BN2's, but they COMBINED BN1's and BN2's into an almost useless option, since you only get to choose from 10 for that one turn.

Wow....

I hope the game isn't as bad as it looks. This could be a really cool game, but probably not.

Music is depressing.

It's pretty bad. There's no justifying it. You'll get a better deal buying MMBN1 for the GBA, it's cheaper, the music is better, and the armors aren't removed. Paying full price for a game that was made 8 years ago is a complete ripoff.

Not to mention the whole entire sales pitch was Star Force, and the amount of SF in the game was about 30 minutes at the most. Which goes to show just how much work they put into the game.

Thankfully, it sold like #####. So HOPEFULLY we WON'T see BN2 get assraped with this crappy porting.

BN2 was epic. If they make a crappy remake they'll only push the point that Capcom has no soul.

I've never played BN1 though, should probably pick it up at Gamestop sometime.

Good luck finding it.

MMBN3 is probably the easiest to find, and I am not aware of any legal downloading of GBA games on ANY system as of YET...

And as for a quick search, lacking dedication, online... I did not find one entry with a price through E-bay, nor Google.

DSi needs some GBA Virtual Console. Eventually.

Also, if it's in your area, getting it for $6 at GameStop would be a good deal.

There was a MMBN1 still in the box, unopened, at the Gamestop near me. I wonder if it's still there.

I wonder if I should buy it for collector purposes.

I used to have the boxes for BN1 and 2 (still have BN3's) but my parents threw them away even after I told them NOT to.

Not sure if I still have the manuals for them though. They're probably in one of my drawers buried somewhere...

The only game boxes I don't still have were from second-hand or borrowed-but-never-returned games. I think.

My Gamestop has all the MMBN games, for the win.

I have the boxes and manuals of both versions of MMBN6 in Japanese, but not really as awesome as MMBN2/3.

What are Battletoads? o.o
