So, uh... Michael Jackson died of a heart attack today.
I heard this on the bus home and people were like laughing, so I thought it was just another teen joke that wasn't funny so I went back to listening to my music. I guess that's why I heard "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" on the radio at the mall. I actually like MJ still, I guess, so it sucks. I mean, he was The Kind Of Pop. Also Farrah Fawcett, that sucks too. But not to be totally disrespectful, it's not like she was doing anything anyway. ... Yeah that was totally disrespectful after all. I didn't meant it to be but there it is. Posted on: 25 June 2009, 19:47:29

I'm surprised Billy Mays had to go. Everyone's off about Michael Jackson, but I'm actually gonna miss this guy.
Different generations are gonna remember MJ differently and care accordingly. If you weren't around when he was in his prime you have no idea how big he was. He was a cultural phenomenon above everyone in his time in terms of pop music and fashion. In fact, at the time every big thing in fashion; If you saw anyone wearing a motorcycle jacket, white socks with black shoes, cropped black pants, etc.-- It all came from him. I mean, whole families stayed up late when MTV aired the Black and White video the first time. If you watch the Motown 25th anniversary you can see the crowd go APE when he did the moonwalk for the first time. And really, almost every artist in pop, hip-hop, and more have a clear Michael Jackson influence in their sound, style, and moves. If you born later you just can't remember how huge he was 'cause you weren't there, and all you get is the unfortunate freakshow end years. You can choose to remember how you want if you saw it, or most of it. Otherwise you can't possibly understand, I think. Undoubtedly something just like this will happen we're older and you'll get it. I'm not saying this specifically at you, Chaos. I'm just a touch tired of people going off like "WOW I DON'T CARE" online on Facebook or wherever. It's about as annoying as everyone talking about it in their status, especially when it's coming from people who obviously couldn't care. Like clearly I don't have much to talk about for the death of JFK, I wasn't there. I'm just gonna choose to remember the Michael Jackson I've BEEN remembering. Beat it.
