I think the idea of a wireless nunchuk is freaking awesome...

But I think that there's gonna be someone that complains about it flying out of their hand into their plasma because they didn't put on the wrist strap.

Sounds like a personal problem.

This looks pretty sweet. I'll get one eventually when I have money....

I dunno... It SOUNDED like the best idea since the Wii itself, but then came the news that it was Nyko developing this, and then the screen shot shows the power button for it just below the analog nub, so I think I'll pass on this one until the Big N decides it's a great idea to rip them off upon hearing of the sales of it.

Does this mean I can actually feel some #####ing weight in my nunchuck?

No wires is great and all, but it feels weird to play with a light nunchuck in my hand, especially with Wii Boxing. I blame the nunchuck for not landing any left-hand punches.

Left hand punches are easy to land.

I'll get one when Nintendo makes it.

Nunchucks = two sticks on a wire/chain

Wireless Nunchucks = two sticks

Now if you're using the wireless nunchucks, you're flailing two sticks around. That look's like you're raving with two glow sticks.

Wireless nunchucks = WTF

I agree. Where is the inconvenience of the wired nunchuk? Frankly, I feel like the wire is actually more convenient.

It's not inconvient but at the same I wouldn't mind more freedom to move the other part especially for boxing or that dreaaaaadulllll Spider-Man 3 game. And it could allow for that part to be used in more games.

True- I guess more freedom wouldn't hurt.

I remember kicking back and playing with one arm around my girlfriend- it was like just sitting on my ass perfectly comfortably but still holding the controller. It was one of those life is good, thanks nintendo moments.

Yeah. Having no cord would make even more of those.

It sounds like a good idea. (And for you people talking about it looking like a rave due to glowsticks, you have no idea what you're talking about.) But I don't think I'd waste money on it. My wired nunchucks work fine, so I don't see the need to replace them. Good idea though.

I should've bought two Wiimotes and nunchucks on Black Friday. My brother said he saw some for $3 each...

Then again, I'm interested in this. Not because of wireless, but because like I mentioned earlier, I'm hoping it's not light as a feather...

I doubt they would be 3 dollars. I didn't see any discounted Wii Remotes on Black Friday... and I was in Best Buy at 5AM.

Well, my brother said he saw some. I somewhat doubt the price too, but hey, I doubt he's telling a lie as well.

But the chance has passed, and if it was true, then I'm in regret.

Why the hell can't you just use two Wii remotes, left hand= nunchuk, right= Remote?
No wires, probably as cheap as the wireless nunchuk, pretty simple.
Maybe the d-pad for the analog wouldn't be GREAT, but it would work for boxing.

I'd rather have the analog stick thing instead.

Nothing's wrong with the Nunchuck. If I can beat the champ of Wii Boxing with it... SO CAN YOU...

Wire's too freaking short in the first place.

In my opinion Nintendo is stupid for making the Wii controllers like they did. The Wireless Numchucks are the worst idea I've ever heard for a console controller. It simply is not "Pro." Although I see what Nintendo did for the Wii was make it so that it would target the non Hardcore gamers such as myself and go for the more casual ones and little kiddies. I think that was a stupid move, by Nintendo making such a move as they did Hardcore gamers wont be as dedicated to that particular console.... What hardcore gamer wants to hold something that resembles a VIBRATOR and wave it around in the air like a crazy drunk.

Worst 3rd party accessory makers:
Nyko
Pelican
MadCatz

Never get ANY of their stuff.
Ever.
Especially Nyko's new wireless sensor bar. I made my own with LED christmas lights. NO BATTERIES. It's also pointless in that the Wii has to connect to the TV anyways, so the sensor bar cord should reach without trouble.

I got Nyko's charger. My only complaint is that they weren't smart enough to sell batteries separately. I don't want to buy a whole new charger just to get packs for my other two wii remotes.

The only thing Pelican I have are GBA game cases. They're still good, although one's got a crack.

Never tried Nyko.

MadCatz is horrible. I mean, I'm a cheapskate and bought a MadCatz memory card, but they make pretty cool lookin' stuff like a golden N64 controller. A few months later, in the middle of a multiplayer Mario Kart game, I can't turn left...

My friend bought a HipGear memory card for GC back in high school. After about a month or so it completely wiped itself clean and couldn't be saved to on his GC. I was able to save to it on my Gamecube so he gave it to me since he lost all the data that was on it.

I don't know if it's the MadCatz card, but whenever I saved Chao data on it from Sonic Adventure DX, it'd get corrupted and I'd have to delete everything.
