I'm either at or almost at all of the final stages in Megaman anniversary collection, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how difficult the highest points in the stages are compared to the others. I've already completed 1-3 and 8, but I'm clueless as to which Final Stages I should warm up with from 4-7, and I don't want to have to go from the hardest to one that will provide little challenge. So, does anyone know the difficulty order?

Why don't you just play the games in order?
Who cares?

Just play them in order, you'll have to eventually play all of them anyway.

I find 4 the easiest of 4-7, but that's just because it's the only one of those I owned on the original hardware so I have lots more experience with it.

1 had the hardest fortress stages hands down.  You've alreday cleared the hardest.  4-7 were all about on par as far as I'm concerned, though 7's are the easiest of that bunch.

OK, I'll start with that, thanks. I don't want another stupid 1-8 difficulty drop. I went from fighting the yellow devil to fighting some fricked up version of it! HOW is jello supposed to be fearsome?

The first two games had the hardest difficulty, along with MM9. The rest just had some bit of creative stage design, but nothing really hard.

I do absolutely love Cossack's stages  though, both the design and graphics.

You really don't like MM8, do you? I thought that fight was pretty fun to be honest...

Nope. 8 is on the hate list along with Battle Network 6, Sonic Eraser music, Nintendogs fans, some guy called xxJoesusxx, and various 3rd party Wii and Gameboy games.

Regardless of your hate-list, MegaMan 8 is a quality game.

It's still fun, although a bit gimmicky and the easiest of the series.

I like that it has cutscenes, even though the dialogue is poorly written and acted. But other than at it's just an alright game, which is also fine.

8's far from bad (or even BN4-6 bad), but it's also last on my list in quality for normal Classic games (MM&B is the WORST "classic" game in my opinion, but it doesn't really fit into the normal mode so I don't count it with the properly numbered games).

What does ^that^ have to do with MM&B being the worst classic game (and it is)?

I think he was saying that it's worse.

But I want to pretend he's just clinically retarded.

Handheld classic games were not included, no, and generally because they ARE awful.

And that game is foreign.

Let's include the five gameboy games if you're gonna be picky then! Let's play some Mega Man II!

I always found 7's to be hard whereas 8's was pretty easy.

1 is easy for me now but a little over 10 years ago the Yellow Devil would always stop me...

7's final boss sure as hell is at least 10 times harder than 8's!
