So, I recently heard that Golden Sun is being remade on the Nintendo DS. For those who don't know, Golden Sun is the best game ever. Isaac can totally kick megaman and sonic's asses. I believe it was the year 2001, though I don't plan to google it to find out, That Camelot games created Golden sun. Golden sun is/was an RPG encompassing four adepts of psi, though they were mislabeled and were really elemental invokers, and their journey across the country to defeat the evil group that were trying to end the world. About a year later, the sequel, Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age was released, causing me to spill my seed. Again, My pants are wet and sticky due to the announcement of a new Golden Sun game. Fortunately this is a remake of the original Golden Sun, It's not a port. It will be 3d (hurray for polygons), Stylus controlled for movement, and obviously feature two screens to play on. I recommend that anyone that, because of this news, cannot keep their hands out of their pants view the E3 2009 gameplay video in the following link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm3-RRgXtnI

I only actually played the second one, it was the first game I got when I bought the GBA SP. And... it's good. I liked it. But I never felt like replaying it or playing the original.
Same here. GS2 wasn't my first GBA game, but I had pretty much the same experience. I really liked Golden Sun 2 (despite the game not really telling yoyu where to go at times, which lead to a LONG period where I didn't play or like the game at all) but it's not the best game ever. Not even top ten. But pretty good. Also, since I haven't played the first, I'm inclined to like the second games' characters more, though I guess you're not really expected to. Aren't they more right though, anyway? I'd be more inclined to buy the next game installment, rather than a remake of the first. Although in GS2 none of the characters from the first had any special stuff since I didn't have the original game, so a part of me wouldn't really mind starting it all over.
