So my birthday was pretty crappy.
Nothing happened.
I got a few early gifts and it all amounted to

Dead Rising
20$ gift certificate
300$ that all went towards books.

I have no money and a lot of school books to read.
And a new game.
And $20 to a music store.

If I didn't have to waste it all on books, I'd be a happy camper.

Getting a new game makes me happy.

You should be happy.

Especially since it's Dead Rising.

I was going to say John wasn't saying his GIFTS were crappy, but okayy.

I seem to have been getting gift cards a lot for my birthdays. That's okay. It just takes me forever to use them. Don't worry about using them all at once. Well actually I'm not sure about that. In Canada at least, they're not allowed to expire.

I made a mental note to post here yesterday.
Why am I posting right now?
I'll require somebody to shoot me now. Please.

Edit: Oh, right. Happy birthday John!

WHAT? Is that new? I know they used to expire when I was in high school, so I hated getting gift certificates.

Also, love the URL, Majikn.

Tee hee!

But yeah, I'm not actually certain if it's true or if it's a new thing. But I've had a certain gift card for like two years up until when I tried using it a long while back and it went through. When I was much younger I'd always use them right away so I never had the trouble of them expiring, except once. And I've been told by two of my family members that there's a law against it. One of them has been working for the government for at least 20 years.

When I worked at the government the MAIN thing I learned was that people working for the government are more cynical about the government than 20-something biracial kids who grew up in a project.
