It's not THAT simple, "fish egg puree", and that sounds a lot more disgusting. You can get it any real Greek restaurant, and Greek food is ace, so you should be going to such a restaurant anyway.

I hate to eat fish. I can't stand the "fishy taste", even a bit of it turns me right off. I can barely stand Dolphin Fish and I'm so not even into salmon at all, which are "less fishy tasting" apparently.

But I love taramasalata, so it clearly doesn't taste anything like fish even though it's made with caviar. It's a spread, simply. You put it on pita or garlic breads or both. It's orange/pink and tangy and amazing.

If I didn't know better, I'd say Planty wins the "Creepiest Plant I Know" award. But that award goes to kudzu.

Tzatziki is better.

It's completely different, you can't even compare them!

That's like saying Kid Robot action figures are better than New Balance trainers (they are, but that's not the point).

Sheep brain is apparently delicious.

I wouldn't know, and have no plans to.

In the caribbean people eat fish brain. Brain isn't any more disgusting or odd to eat than any other part of an animal, it's just YOUR brain labelling what's cool to eat and what isn't.

It's like how dogs were/are food in some country. That's not weird, they just picked an animal that was there and served the need. Just because on this side of the world they are pets doesn't mean they ARE pets. It's all animals. There are people who look down on our culture because we eat cows three times a day. But now I'm off track.

What's WEIRD is eating horseradish ever.

Ever tried Wasabi, MIke?

Most likely it was horseradish with some spices thrown in for an extra edge.

Actually, it's a type of rhyzome that is related to horseradish. Wasabi is the plant's name.

No since I live in the boonies in the street in the bin rifling around the apple cores like a yellowjacket.

Yes I've had wasabi. Paste and peas. I don't mind it.
I've not been a fan of horseradish ever since I got it in Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans.

Yes.

I've never actually tried wasabi, but the stench alone is enough to make me feel like vomiting.

Horseradish, however, I don't mind in small doses.

I always talk about how horses are evil and I hate them, but I don't actually hate horses. Actually I went and saw some today, along with other farm animals, for my life drawing class.

Met the most amazing cow, goat, and baby rabbit.
