I have no idea what that means.

I watched Zack and Miri recently and liked it, but it's not as awesome as the quotes on the DVD box say.

I watched Die Hard 2 and Die Hard With a Vengeance (aka Die hard 3) again. So awesome.

The second Die Hard is my least favourite of them all (or it's tied with Die Hard 4, I guess. Maybe. I'm not sure, I have to watch 4 again) and most people feel the same about it, but it's still a pretty wicked movie.

Die Hard With A Vengeance is my favourite of them still, I think. It's between that and the first one, which are equally awesome but in different ways. I finally understood how they did that water jug thing (they actually skip over a whole step in the movie) so I have no qualms with the movie at all anymore.

Now I feel like watching Live Free Or Die Hard (aka Die Hard 4) again.

Ha, I love Grindhouse. I don't blame anyone who hates 'em, though.

Mike, you inspired me to FINALLY download all four Die Hard movies last week. I'm gonna' find time and watch 'em all sometime this weekend. I've never seen any of them. I've needed a good action movie.

On an impulse, watched The Departed again yesterday. Such a great movie, especially since this time I was paying closer attention and picked up on a few more plot items than last time. And the elevator scene at the end never fails to make me chuckle a bit, for whatever reason.

Watched Role Models.

It was... okay. I really liked the black kid though, for like the first half only.

Half of the movie was alright. I didn't know there were gonna be boobies in the movie, so it was really fun, especially since I had my prude girl-friend with me.

There's a hyphen, she's a girl, but also my friend.

Or you know, calling her a friend sounds best I think. Don't see the point of calling her a girl-friend or a girlfriend unless you're trying to point it out like it's something special...

Thank you, Nova.

Half my friends are male and half are female. I mean, if I actually counted, it's probably not a CLEAN half, leaning more on the female side, but my point is that I very rarely need to make the distinction when referring to them. But if I do, I hate "friend that's a girl."

And if you say "one of my girl friends," they're either going to assume you're talking about a friend that's a girl, or you're into polygamy. But they at least understand she's not your girlfriend.

Anyway, gonna' watch Die Hard tomorrow for the first time.

Yeah, that's what I do, I just had to make that distinction, because having a guy friend that feels uneasy when seeing a pair of breasts is WROOOONG.

Unless they're gay.

LAME.

I'm actually serious. But I don't use it—well, at least in most situations when I'm not mimicking a certain kind of tone. I make the distinction by using GENDER-INDICATIVE PRONOUNS.

The first gay guy I met, I asked him how he first knew he was gay. Somewhere in the story, he recounted to me a hilarious anecdote that I will never forget:

"I gathered up a bunch of pictures of boobs and just stared at them for hours trying to get turned on."

The image of that is so funny in my mind.

Oh, you're hilarious.

Really, think about it and how it'd make you feel. You'd have to be, like, freaked out to desperation to do something like that. It'd be really sad to watch or even think about.

If you put yourself in the shoes of the person it's happening too, yes.

But if you don't it's amazingly funny; other people's pain usually is.

Yeah, he's a friend of mine and he's fine about his identity NOW. I tend to take a lot of my own tough life issues very lightheartedly, so even though I recognize when something might be hard for someone, I tend to write it off and laugh at the lighter side of it.

That's a funny image I described up there, and the kid WAAAAAAAAY past those issues so you're allowed to laugh. So laugh.

You could ask the same about Puerto Rico or other territories.

The answer is no, they are something more like hemorrhoids.
Condition usually attributed to stationary lifestyles.
