Yeah, I actually want to see Star Trek again.

Anyway, I just watched Fanboys. That movie's been in limbo for SO long, since 2007 or something. Glad I finally got to watch it.

It's a really entertaining geekfest. Not the greatest film, obviously, but fun for what it is. All the performances are really funny, and there's so many cameos that you can't help but love it.

Also, Kristin Bell dressed as Slave Leia.

Will Forte and Craig Robinson were Skywalker Ranch guards, William Shatner made an awesome cameo, Seth Rogen had a funny but small role very different than his usual stuff, and also, Kristin Bell dressed as Slave Leia.

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan by ANY means, but I do love it and I definitely reccomend this movie to anyone else who does.

Oh, I could definitely see people hating it. It's not for everybody. I was really lax with it because it's geeky and I appreciated that. They played Mario Kart, made Zelda references, wore G.I. Joe shirts - I couldn't hate it. And it wasn't just a generic road trip movie by any means, though it certainly had that formula to it.

I can't say for sure if you'd like it, but yeah, take a look. Basically, even though I enjoyed it, I definitely can see people thinking it sucked.

You'd like the Kevin Smith/Jason Mewes cameo.

Somehow it's impossible for me to have a crush on a celebrity. But maybe it only seems that way because I never have a crush on a celebrity.

Not criticizing of course, that's just my thought.

There's only one time I've been stopped dead by someone's appearance alone, and I never saw that girl again.

My celebrity crushes are Robert Downey Junior, Simon Pegg, and Neil Patrick Harris. The latter is gay so I have a shot.

Ever since seeing Downey Jr. in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man, I've wanted to go deeper into his movies and deeper into his heart <3

He's in Weird Science though. That was a good movie. He's not a lead in it or anything, but it's funny 'cause he still had the part in his teeth.

Downey was in more than enough enough good movies. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man, Tropic Thunder, and Charlie Bartlett, which was ONLY good because of his great performance even though it wasn't a lead. He was in Chaplin and A Scanner Darkly, though I haven't seen either but heard they're both good. I have to go see The Soloist sometime this week or next. And soon, we've got Sherlock Holmes, two Iron Man sequels, and The Avengers.

So SUCK IT.

He's only been in good movies since Iron Man fame, really. I haven't Scanner Darkly or Kiss Kiss Bang Bang though. Like every movie he was in before those sucked and everyone knows it.

Saying "he's gonna be in this" is bull##### because I'm talking about a ratio of good movies he's in against bad movies he's in, and that ratio is way off. He's been in a lot of crap and talking about four movies you like doesn't change that.

I've never read a Sherlock Holmes story, but I've wanted to for years ever since someone explained to me how Professor Moriarty is like, the ultimate villain. That really got me hooked, but I still haven't made time for it.

Haha, I just watched that old Tiny Toons movie, How I Spent My Summer Vacation. I haven't seen it since I was really young. It holds up pretty well with a great dose of nostalgia.

I love the entire movie is resolved by Buster and Babs falling through a plot hole and getting tossed out back in Acme Acres. Also how Superman saves their life for no reason at one point. There's a lot of funny references that I would never have gotten as a kid, ranging from Jay Leno to Roseanne.

A good child's show has things that the child finds entertaining and things that adults can find amusing so they can bear it.

It is what many kids shows nowadays lack.

All the kids get now is americanized animes and that sort of shiat.

Anywhom, Terminator Salvation has been getting some heavily bad reviews; saying the flick doesn't have the heart that the others had. I'm still going to watch it because I'm a robot/time travel freak, but it'd be too bad if it doesn't have the same kind of emotion the first 3 had.

I almost went with some friends on Wednesday at midnight (why'd it come out on Thursday?) but we ended doing better stuff (i.e. nothing.)

Since there shouldn't be a Terminator movie where the war actually happens (if you understood the theme of first two--AKA the good--Terminator movies), I'm not surprised it didn't have the heard the others had.

Since originally they wanted Bale to play Marcus and not John Connor and have very little if any John Connor in the movie but Bale dicked at them and said if he was gonna be in the movie he'd have to be playing John Connor, I'm not surprised the movie is lacking.


But I'll still see it because I mostly love Terminator. Mostly.

Watched Terminator, it was actually really good, not for a Terminator movie, but it was still really good.. I #####ing hate Bale though, the ass still has the same problem he did in Batman, where he starts grunting to be a "tough guy". Almost everything he said was impossible to understand, it was like--"BRUAGRAH-JOHN CONNOR-BRABRAGRAAH-THE FUTURE-GRAWRAGHAW-TERMINATOR"

They had a lot of homages to the first 2 movies though. A LOT. And they were VERY good too. Like I said before, didn't have the heart and story of the first two, but was still pretty good. Made for an excellent action flick.

I'm actually happy they made more, they did mess things up by making 3 and this one, but I still like watching Terminator movies.

Batman would have to mask his voice, to be fair. I figured that was just part of their take on Batman.

I completely disagree. Batman doesn't have to mask his voice. Bruce Wayne does.

The best example of Batman voicing done right is Batman: The Animated Series (90's). When Bruce was alone with Alfred, or Dick, or Tim, he had the same voice as he did when he was Batman because that's his voice. The larger than life Bruce Wayne persona is a disguise and in The Animated Series, he puts on a different voice when he's out in public. I think they continued this in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited but I'm not sure, and I've got no idea how much if any time was spent showing Bruce Wayne at parties or galas or whatever rich people think is fun but isn't.

It makes entirely more sense this way. Otherwise, he'd have to hold up this fake voice 90% of the time (he's Batman almost 24/7) and even when in duress, combat, and such things a comic serial has in spades..

But no, I wouldn't have known about Bruce masking his voice differently in the show.

It just makes more sense that way.

It's like how my friend always draws Batman as more ripped than Superman. Superman is still bigger but in terms of muscle tone and hardness and stuff Batman's more fit, simply because "he actually needs to be". Superman is just naturally super.

As a side note, I'm watching The Batman right now, which I never really liked, and I can't tell what voice stuff Bats is doing but I absolutely hate The Riddler in this. Unfortunate, since I really like the Riddler in other stuff. I also hate Robin in it to no end.

I was at a garage sale that was basically just a DVD collection on Sunday. I almost got a box set of four of the old Batman movies for $10. They also had a box set of four Alien movies.

I ended up getting a lot of SUPER-cheap TV-show sets instead, like Strangers With Candy and Married With Children for about $5 each.

It was a really cool garage sale. Apparently a relative with a huge DVD collection died and they were selling all of it. Which probably made the dude's ghost pretty mad.

In addition to the TV shows, I got The Terminator 1 and 2, Reefer Madness, Billy Madison, and Happy Gilmore for a DOLLAR each.

I had planned to go back later and clean the place out since it was all so cheap but I totally forgot and then they were closed up. It's on the other side of town and I was only there hanging with some friends so I haven't gone back to see if they're still set up.

I almost blurted out "I hope my relatives don't just up and sell my entire collection when I die."

But yeah, it was a great find because they had no idea how much any of this stuff should actually sell for, especially the TV shows.

They had the entire series of Stargate SG-1 for $5 each, which totaled to about $40 for all 8 seasons. Now, I have absolutely zero interest in ever watching that show, but I was tempted to buy them all and sell them on eBay or something since the complete series goes for about $150 on Amazon used ($250-something retail.)

I really wish I didn't have such distracting friends because I would've totally cleared that place out if I'd gone back.

Yeah, I do see your point. Sorry, I should've said that. I'd just assumed that there wasn't any voice masking going on in the show because I didn't watch it that much.

Saw "The Soloist."

I thought it was a very good movie, but I didn't love it. I liked it quite a bit, but I didn't love it. Downey and Foxx were both very good in it.

Seeing "Up" tomorrow.

I hear they attached a Toy Story 3 teaser trailer to it. Fantastic.
