I had Blue, and then Gold, at which point I discovered the game was actually stupid now so I haven't touched Pokemans since.

Blue was good fun.

I know we should be more concerned about Mega Man, but Metroid II was a good game, and it needs more love.
Remake looks nice, and the tech demo plays perfectly.

I WANT IT.

YouTube comment alert:

: zee44182
i'm sorry but... that's a fake. you used the samus' sprite of the metroid zero mission, some enemies from the fusion and some fixed stages from the zero mission. just look at the letters when she gets the power grip, it looks so bad, the grafics are awfull it looks like gba grafics, why would nintendo make a game for the gba rather than do it for the ds? think about it

Some other comment "hoped" it's for the DS.

Wind, I know what you mean about "getting your own game." I had to share my Super Nintendo with my brother and since I was older, I always made him Player 2 and such. We'd play Kirby's Dreamland 3 a lot, and I don't think I ever let him play as Kirby. He'd always have to play as Gooey, every time.

So, when we got our Game Boy Pockets... we each got our own, and our own Pokemon game. I got Red and he got Blue. It was the first time we didn't have to share. And it was fantastic.

I had a similar experience, but a bit earlier time setting than that.

My brother and I both had Gameboys. That's right. Those big fat ones. We had a link cable and two copies of Yoshi's Cookie.

I still have them.

WHAT? YOU MEAN YOU NEVER PLAYED MULTIPLAYER TETRIS?

You never experienced the true thrill of a quadra-block dropping battle on the furious green screen?
YOU WERE NEVER LOCKED IN MORTAL MAN-TO-MAN COMBAT IN THE FIRST MULTIPLAYER HANDHELD FUN TIME THING EVER?

Uuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar gh

I think Qix was also multiplayer but that game sucked

Actually, we may have had two copies of Tetris but I don't remember. I think we only tried Yoshi's Cookie together.

That was better on the NES.
Although admittedly less portable.

Tetris, Dr. Mario, and Yoshi's Cookie. I owned the Gameboy versions, never the NES ones.

Same with Duck Tales, and I think there's actually a level difference in that game.

ASR is completely void of a soul, having not played head to head Tetris. Which was possibly one of the best things ever in time.

That one does actually look better. I've come to like the Super sprites more than the Zero Mission sprites.

This is in part due to Super Justin Bailey, but I'll not go into that.

I've seen one or to of the old "I'm a Marvel and I'm a DC" ones, and they weren't bad either.

Nah, Von Richter (Cyber6!?) is making that one, and AMIIR is being made by DoctorM64.

Both are going to be great because Doctor's is going to be an exact remake while Von Richter's is going to be a totally re-imagination of the game, so we get two fresh games.

Really Lame Video Games Live Coverage Video
Yeah... These guys were cool when I met them, but I can't say their video doesn't bore me to death.

You can see me and my party at about 8:15.
Then me again around 9:53.
Then I actually speak at 10:22, they wanted me to emphasize just how much more amazing the two Master Chiefs were than everyone else.

I know nobody'll actually be able to sit through it long enough to see, but whatever.

Wolf researcher Shaun Ellis (who looks suspiciously like a werewolf) teaching a baby wolf to howl. All I can think is, "Deliver one of each to my doorstop, please."

I remember hearing a story from somewhere where a guy decided to live with some bears to study their lives. Eventualy he became all arrogant because he believed he was the only one who could understand the bears, and then one day he got eaten by them. Not really related but...ok nevermind.

That video is really cute.

I remember that. The guy's girlfriend somehow got an audio feed of them being killed by the bears.

The family never released the audio to public, and I honestly would not like to hear it.

I read about him too, Reader's Digest last summer.
Some Cali surfer dude living with the bears in Alaska, went up with his girlfriend one year during a berry famine, bears were hungry as #####, ate them both on camera.

I read about that man, Timothy Treadwell. There's a documentary about his work and death called Grizzly Man. I've seen a bit of it, and the man was visibly off his rocker. I believe he had an alcohol or drug problem before the thing with bears started. It just feels like he traded one obsession for another.

Retard.
