No wonder, though. That piano sure is hot

Yeah, I loved Roller Coaster Tycoon and after hearing it came out in 3D, I wanted to get it but never came around to it. That was pretty cool.

He's not as good as that dog, but one of my neighbors owns a dog like that, and he also skateboards.

Usually just down the driveway. It's kinda cute.

The skateboarding really. I don't find these type of dogs cute, but seeing him on the board is just awesome.

I should mention that the bulldog on Rob & Big, Meaty, skates all the time. Also, he learned to skate in the first season from THAT bulldog.

In Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory he has gotten a second bulldog, Beefy, and I'm not sure if she can skate because when I saw him trying to teach her Meaty kept pushing her off the board.

Apparently bulldogs have more propensity for it than other breeds.

Aw, too bad it's fake, it looks really cool....

Notice the crappy little pool doesn't move at ALL and the water that sloshed out magically disappears.

How can you tell that the water disappears if it all lands behind the grass?

Not that it's real.

It leaves no residue on the wood or the pool itself. It wouldn't all drip off that fast.

Also, when he steps out the pool is obviously still VERY full.

I love this guy. I knew this one was coming for a little bit; he said so in an earlier video. But that didn't take away the "OMG YES" when I saw it.

It's a re-enactment from Brandon Hardesty of the first scene from It. I never saw the movie but I saw this scene and loved it. I know the movie's probably crap but I want to see it some day anyway.

It totally sounds like he said something other than "KEEE-RECT?" when he was supposed to say it, though.

Yeah, those were lego walls, basically.

Which means for it to be that smooth would be at least 25 of those per second.
I believe it took 1500 hours.

I've seen much better. Not that this was bad, it was pretty good, but there wasn't enough frames in anything to make it smooth enough. 1500 hours isn't a lot of work for a ~4 minute animation. That's only like a couple months and I'm not convinced every last thing was Lego (not that it HAS to be, but..).

Which means for it to be that smooth would be at least 25 of those per second.

Not to bust that, but there's only 24 frames per second in standard animation. And I really don't think it was smooth enough that they used each of those frames, unless they purposefully made the gaps I'm seeing, which would be a waste when you could just film it on 2's instead and get the same result with half the work.

I can't be sure right now though, so I'll watch it again later when my computer wants to move a bit faster, or on another machine.

But anyway, in the vein of this stuff I've always liked The White Stripes' video for "Fell In Love With A Girl", but it helps that I already liked the song before seeing the video.

When I'm at work tomorrow I'm going to have to count the frames in a second. I remember being told that it moves at 29 frames per second.

The wall animations looked really smooth to me. Not EVERYTHING was really smooth. The objects could only change in shape by the size of a lego, but the 'videos' were pixellated at a lego's size. And the pong thing looked really cool. And there were light effects and other effects of course, and I know you've mentioned stuff like that before in lego comics with disdain (at Mike).

I don't care about that in a video, that would be like getting pissed off that the Highlander doesn't get struck by actual lightning or that The Terminator isn't actually from the future. In the comics however, it completely defeated the purpose, especially since they actually had pieces of Lego already that were made to look like fire and such things.

Live action fps and animation fps is different. And anyway, you can export video to different framerate settings all you want but animation is FILMED at 24fps.

Well that was out of pure ignorance of stretching or doing anything to frame rates. I had considered it but I can't picture in my head how it works.

I'm possibly wrong about the projectors anyway.
