I'll never admit exactly how hard I laughed, just that I did and I feel bad.

Honestly, what I really find funniest is that somebody actually made the mental connection that it would be funny to add that music.

Oh, that was my first reaction too.
And I firstly found the "walk it out" version extremely offensive.

Looking back now, after seeing the whole original video, it's hard not to laugh.

Poor gal, but it syncs up with the music so darned nicely....

It's only got a lameness to it because unlike the Charlie Bit Me one, these goofballs are in it and ruining most of it.

But I liked part of it.

Don't watch some of their other videos. This is probably the best out of the bunch.

Who the hell makes a kid sign a contract promising not to hurt themselves? What did he plan to do in this scenario, sue for breach of contract?

I'd hate to say it, but I'm not convinced (by this interview, anyway) that her mother followed a wise course of action. Punishing your child for something that haunts them everywhere they go seems like overkill, and the fact that she likened breaking the "house rule" of no nude photos with not taking out the trash would lead me to believe she never actually SPOKE with her daughter about the incident.
I'm not talking about lecturing, because I'm sure she did plenty of that, I'm talking about actually sitting down with her and exploring the reasons that she sent the text, and how the aftermath made her feel.

Also, where the hell was the school faculty? When I was in middle school, if a staff member heard you call another student anything nearly as derogatory as "slut" they would have tossed your ass in detention at the very least. This whole thing smacks of poor adult supervision on pretty much every front.

Ultimately, this just goes to show the harm that shame (particularly needless shame) can do.

Well duh. They do the same thing for people trying to prove the opposite point. Yes, I flinch every time I hear that America is best nation in the world, not because I'm against patriotism or anything but because of how incredibly misguided a statement like that can be (and usually is). Not to mention but I will that it alienates everyone who you will undoubtedly have to rely on one day.

As you all know, I don't watch a lot of TV. Hardly any. I just don't care.

I'm like the opposite of ASR.

Every now and then I feel like watching Discovery, History, or whatever Annie's watching, but that's it.

But this makes me want to tune into Cartoon Network.
