I'm surprised I didn't hear a "Never give up! Never surrender!" in there.

Interestingly enough, you're supposed to CLOSE the box, not press the button, when you declare "NO DEAL!"

I loved it.

"Poor thing..."

Instant sign that he doesn't get much free time. He is incredibly devoted to his son.

My Macroeconomics teacher is so awesome. On the first day of class, he asked everyone why they took the class and what it's about. He said that if they were here to learn how to make money, they're at the wrong place. "If every economist knew how to make money, I wouldn't be here. This is what economics is about: *que Rolling Stones music 'You Can't Always Get What You Want'*"

Today, he was talking about the 10 Principles of Economics and for fun, he showed us this video of a "Stand Up Economist" he met. You should really get a kick out of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVp8UGjECt4

Before I post this, I should mention that there are probably a lot of videos LIKE this one on youtube and I didn't make it through the whole thing because it's dumb watching something when you get the general idea not very far in that omg it's sort of kind of creepy in slow motion but since someone mentioned Epona's whinny I had to skip to it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae89sovYzqM at 3:36
It seriously made my day. I want a clip of just that part.

Anyway, I wonder if I can do this on the Virtual Console...

Anything requiring a 2nd controller you can't do. Your Wiimote won't connect. That sucks.

I wonder if I can use Gamecube...

I'll have to try some of that on my AWESOME NES I BOUGHT OFF OF EBAY AND THE MEGAMAN 3 CARTRIDGE THAT I'VE BEEN USING AS A PAPERWEIGHT FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS NOW.

OMG SO MUCH FUN.

I tried some of that stuff (with Annie) using a Gamecube controller in the 2nd port. IT'S SO WORTH IT, so much you can do. If you guys want to try this glitchy stuff for MM1-4 on the virtual console, it's worth your $5. Give each a shot.

MM3 only really needs the 2nd controller though and seems to be the most interesting because... well... it's one of the most "loose" and glitchy Mega Man games ever. Usually when I say that, I mean it in a bad way, but this stuff is SERIOUSLY fun and goofy. Again, definitely try it out.

DOES IT WORK? I GOT AN NES RECENTLY AND IT KEEPS BLINKING AND I WANTED TO CRY SINCE I REALLY WANTED TO PLAY MEGA MAN ON AN AUTHENTIC NES AGAIN LIKE WHEN I WAS KID.

I'M JEALOUS.

Yeah, it works just fine. The only problems I've had are with specific games, most of which are ones I picked up en masse at Goodwill for really cheap. Like Ninja Gaiden will turn on and it's actually playable, but the graphics are all glitched up and blocky so... actually, it's unplayable. But technically you could still beat it. And you didn't think anyone could make Ninja Gaiden any harder!

But yeah, on occasion it blinks and a game won't start, but if I give it a few tries they always work. I still have to find MegaMan 1, 4, 5 and 6. I only have 2 and 3 right now.

I could easily grab 4-6 if I wanted to order them off eBay or something, but I don't feel like doing that right now. All of my NES games have either been collecting dust in my closet or I bought them at the Goodwill near me for $3 each.

How much does 1 usually go for?

2 and 3 are my favorites so I'm content with having just those, seeing as I CAN play any of them via Anniversary Collection anyway.

That happened to me when I got Super Mario Bros. 3 and Mega Man 1 to finally run! I was so sad. Mega Man was just all blocky and Mario was a Missingno.

It's basically just two guys talking in Tarantino-style dialogue about how all of Tarantino's movies are part of the same big epic movie just split into seperate parts. It's a fun theory.
