I felt like reminding people of my existence my posting about my new favourite thing in the world:



MegaMan + Cyberpunk + Rock Opera = My life is complete.

Their entire stuff is on youtube, but as they're an indy thing and no huge money grabbing corp of evilness, you should be so kind to buy their albums from iTunes or somewhere if you enjoy them.

Yeah, I'm a fan. I didn't really like their first album when they first hit the scene, and so I sort of let them fall off my radar. Then, a little while after their second album came out, I gave it a listen and fell in love. It's so great - it transforms from this old West feel to arena rock, and both "The Hounds" and "Light Up The Night" are constantly played on my iPod.

I still don't like their first album, though.

I think their first album is alright. Would like it more if it had less distortion effects. Those are usually used to conceal lack of talent, which is definitely not their problem.

They're talented, but they just don't do it for me.
I saw them live at Emo's once, but only because For the Most Part and Descendants of Erdrick were opening for them.

I bought four songs from the second album because of this thread.

The last time the Protomen were brought up I wasn't all that into them. I guess that must have been before Act II came out.
