Exactly.

The fact that there's this false sense of breadth added to something that's meant to be 2D just looks meh and messes with my already poor spacial skills.

Did you pick the Japanese style art for the game box? If you did they send you a Japanese manual. If not, they #####ed up yet again.

They sent me another book now and it's in english so i guess the first one was a misprint or something.  Unless they're meant to have identical covers but different insides...
