I work at a Cineplex. You can't get more overpriced than that.

There's supposedly a reason for their pricing, though... apparently we don't get enough revenue otherwise. Don't know if I buy that, but my manager certainly does.

I was once got bitched at by a theater employee for bringing in some chips. I was pretty pissed because I thought it was pretty unnecessary to get that worked up over something that minor. I mean, I threw them out after a small argument and expected him to just let me go, but he tried to keep me there and talk more about how I'm not supposed to do that. I just flashed my ticket and walked past him. He must've had a pretty boring day.
