I just got Pokemon X yesterday so I'm also barely started.

Friend codes?
I'm 4313.1074.8642 and I'll be down to clown after I get into it more.

I chose Froakie.
Desperate for a Growlithe if anyone has tips/trades.

Edit--So Pokexcited I forgot to mention the rest:

I'm loving GTAV, hardcore.

I never played Other M but the whole crying thing never bothered me and seems like it makes a lot of sense. I think it's kind of ridiculous to expect her to be constantly ruff... Although she is basically Ellen Ripley.

Well, thinking about the whole issue, I can decidely justify it by the possibility that the situation in Other M was affecting her psychologically in a way that was different from previous games. With the presence of people from her past, and the nature of the story, it's possible I guess. I just wasn't receptive to the idea for a lack of that kind of thinking.
It's not that I was expecting her to be inhumanly emotionless, though. The idea of Samus crying was never the problem. It's just how it was done that I couldn't circumstantially explain, which took me out of it at the time.

I can better understand it by comparing it somewhat to Batman's behaviour in Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth.

And, ALL of you guys have the new Pokemon?
##### it. I'm getting it. Peer pressured.

Alright guys. I got tired of busting up my wrists EV training my Eevee team.

I've decided to give some info on your friend safaris, and share this following link
http://vivixcore.zapto.org:8069/PKMN/safarifinder.php
If you enter your information and use the service there in, you'll find yourself with some classy ass safaris to build yourself some awesome post-game teams.

or atleast fill up your dex some.

The rules of the safari is as such:  Each friend code gets 3 pokemons in the safari. To get any of them you have to both be friends with each other. Two outright, and one rarer one that others can get once you beat the elite four, as long as they've seen you online afterwards.  As such, some of you I don't have access to your third pokeman.

Mikero: (Poison Type) Sviper, Ariados
Eddy: (Normal type) Dunsparce, Loudred, Ditto
ASR:  (I don't have access to your mans, man.)
Majikn: (Ice) Beartic, Snorunt
TheOnly: (Dragon) Shelgon, Gabite

ASR is Ground and has Sandshrew and Camerupt. Don't have access to his third as I've yet to see him online in-game.

Your Friend Safari type has to do with your friend code apparently, so it's pretty much random.

Maybe later I'll try breeding better Pokemon and such but I don't really have too much time for it... and I'm happy with my team at the moment.

I battled CV and our levels were set to 50 and I was only as far as route 7 with a team of level 20~s whereas he's post-game. I was kind of lucky; I managed to defeat his Mega Gengar with a Lucario with Foresight and Force Palm. I wouldn't have even thought of doing that if he hadn't trapped me into using a fighting type against his ghost type. I paralyzed his Pokemon three separate times (not even realizing that I could paralyze with Force Palm, and I also had Thunder Wave and Pikachu's Static ability).
Even though he Garchomped my remaining three pokemon after that and still had a Mawile and a Kabutops ready to go, I felt pretty accomplished for a brief moment.

I'm progressing very slowly as you peoples can see so it'll probably be a while before you see my third Pokemon.

So there's this unique move called Happy Hour which is available in Japan only and it is on a special Inkay at a distribution place in Tokyo. I don't care about the Inkay, but I would like to sketch that move or get a Smeargle that has it. I'll let you all know if I manage to do so because I'll be able to redistribute it very easily. Its worth as a move is neglible unless you want a way to earn lots of money faster than usual, but it's still something cool to have since you can't get it by conventional means.

I have 30+ Happy Hour Smeargles and I've occasionally been idly wonder trading them off (and trading back the results until I get something I like) while doing other things, so if you see me on and offer a trade I'll give you one.

I wanted to get a shiny Greninja named Mikero and a shiny Amoonguss named Jake. A team of Matrician-like Pokemon would actually be fun to clone/trade off to everyone, though it's brutal to actually get the shiny ones for the fitting colours.

I didn't know Gunman Clive was that cheap, so I might buy it the next time I get a gift card.

They're making a cheaper version of the XBox One and lowering the price of the regular one later this year, so it's probably a good idea to wait.

I played Episode 2 of The Wolf Among Us and started Bioshock Infinite, even though everyone played it like a year ago.

Playing Bravely Default.  It has some issues, to be sure, but it's still a good RPG, the best Final Fantasy since 6 and has a God Tier soundtrack.  Seriously, the music is probably the best RPG soundtrack since Chrono Cross.  It has melted my bitter, icy heart, if only a little.

Dangit Rez, I don't need your opinion prompting me to buy games right now. I have way too many games sitting unplayed.

And here I was thinking that game would be terribly stagnant. Really though it seems like a good move for Square Enix. It seems like they need to get back to the core, and work their way back up from there.
The main thing that actually turned me away from it was the sleep mode mechanic, but I do recall wanting to look up the OST.

To the surprise of no one Rez is right on. I have all my characters abilinked up already but I'd gladly switch over to anyone from here who's willing.

The sleep mode mechanic isn't a problem at all. It's actually rare I pay attention to it, and if you really need to you can always just put the thing to sleep overnight while you sleep.

The sleep mechanic is pretty non intrusive.  It only affects your time stop power and makes the village rebuilding go faster.  Though it was rough when I ate up the 3 SP I had then went into debt 3 more as you can with BP.  Took 5 days get back to a full 3 stocked.

Finished South Park the Stick of Truth.  It was a great game all in all.  The combat was a bit slow, and the summons were so crippled they were useless (but insane tier cool).  The game actually had a few bugs, with extremely choppy loading and lagging as you moved at times, and dropped music frequently during battle.  The music overall was generally a let down, with not a lot of it, and what it had was kind of lame.

Still, the experience was amazing, and I laughed my ass off a number of times.  Even with some flaws, the game is one of the best licensed games ever made.  If you like South Park, you will love this game.  It has a ton of side quests and just about everyone makes an appearance.

I'm going to be selling off a bulk of my Xbox 360 games, so I'm going through the ones I never got around to playing to see whether I'd want to keep them around or just go ahead and sell them. Currently switching between Kameo and Singularity. Probably going to be selling both of them, but I'd like to finish Singularity before I sell it.

I've acquired a nasty habit of ordering in SNES and SFC carts, including replacements for some games I lost a couple years ago. This is mostly in service of my other nasty habit of obsessive speedrunning.

It's amazing how much money you can save by getting a SFC cart vs. a SNES one sometimes. For the amount of money I saved on Chrono Trigger alone, I could acquire all the tools I'd need to open up the cartridge, flash a new chip with the US version, and swap them out. X3 tends to hover around $150-200 these days and I got the JP cart for $30 (still a bit much, maybe, but not excessive). It helps that I am explicitly NOT a collector - I don't really care about the condition, region or rarity of the games, as long as they are playable. That said, there IS a certain degree of satisfaction to being able to play some of these games on original hardware for the first time.

The one I've been playing the most recently is X1. I've got a 32:51 in the fastest-completion category and am shooting for 32:30 or lower (for reference, the WR is 31:27).

After that, I'm moving back to a game nobody else runs, Front Mission: Gun Hazard. A few months ago I developed the route and came up with a half-optimized 3h7m time, but I'm confident in my ability to bring that below 3 hours given some more thought and practice.

EDIT: Oh yeah and I'm playing Mario Kart too. It's a blast - I hadn't really sunk my teeth into a Mario Kart game since MK64, so I was pleasantly surprised by how technical the game can be once you start pushing yourself.

Just finished Ace Attorney Investigations 2 and Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy.  Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is a bang up amazing game.  It's one of the top Ace Attorney games easily, and even more tragic Capcom flipped us the bird and didn't localize it.  The International Translation Team did an amazing job.  It's not just translated, it's fully localized from names to jokes to graphics.  There is not a scrap of Japanese in the game.  If you didn't know it was a fan translation, you'd never know it wasn't official.  I can't recommend people give it a play either via emulation of flash card.

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy was great for 3/4 of the game, and the last 1/4 it fell apart in one of the most spectacular failures and disappointments ever.  An extremely disappointing end to the last Layton game.
