I was thinking about the one on Wii...

Anyway, yeah, I beat Megaman 8. It was... satisfying...

The third Wily stage music sounds a lot like the final area in Megaman Battle Network 3.

Anyway, started my playthrough of Megaman & Bass and have beaten three robot masters.

This is the first time I've ever played MM&B. I remember years ago, before I found this site, that I wanted to play the game on the SNES (didn't know about you-know-whats at the time). Now playing it on the GBA... its better than Megaman 8, and I really like the music and Megaman 7 sound effects. Only thing I dislike is playing this on the GBA, where you can tell that its not made for the GBA.

Strange how this game came out on the SNES after Megaman 8.

Well they kept making NES MM games after they'd made MMX on the SNES, so it's actually kind of in the old school Capcom fashion that they did that.

I recently broke down and bought another DS (I thought of you when I did, Rez) and have been playing through both DS Castlevania titles in anxious anticipation for the new one coming out next month.

The first DS I owned was from when they first came out. I traded in my GBA SP when I bought it. Unfortunately, the early titles left something to be desired. After a few years, when my mothers birthday rolled around and I had no money, I got her Nintendogs (she's obsessed with Pugs) and gave her my DS, since I wasn't using it.

Since then, I've primarily used my PSP for handheld gaming, but with another Castlevania coming out, and another remake of Chrono Trigger (if you can really call it a remake) I broke down and got another one.

Also, as Rez so eloquently put it, it's the last bastion of good 2-d games.

I beat Megaman & Bass.

The game was actually challenging at some parts. Wasn't expecting a challenge but the game sure showed me. Except the final Wily battle was actually easier than the one in Megaman 8.

I beat it with Megaman. Not going to try Bass because I'm not very interested, and I heard its easier with him anyway.

I'd like to read all of the CDs... I'll just look around on the internet somewhere for them.

So yeah... my quest to beat all Megaman games before Megaman 9 is finished. And this is the first time I've beaten all of the Megaman games in a short amount of time.

It's harder, yes, because his shot is weak and you need strong precision hits instead of rapid fire weak stuff. But if you don't play through as MM AND as Bass, then you haven't beaten the game. SORRY.

Really though, it's worth trying Bass out in a few levels, you won't get another chance. Plus it'll help you get more CDs, which are possibly the best part of the game since the rest is just alright.

-I'm trying to beat every single song in GH:On Tour on my DS and trying to get all 5 stars.
-I'm collecting Secret Reports in The World Ends With You.
-Some weeks ago I finished replaying PW:Trials and Tribulations waiting for some Gyakuten Kenji (Ace Attorney spin-off) news. Slugkid is actually finishing Justice For All chapter 4. On MY DS. So I've been half-playing that. Come on, Sluggo can't even point out the contradiction when someone says "2+2=7"
(Slugkid attacks keyboard. Result: AÑLK)i8iyn +0io)
EDIT: Wow, he beat JfA. Now he's playing Castlevania and NOT playing Trials and Tribulations. NOT PLAYING IT. NOT.
-I've beat with CHEATS Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the first time (not Julius Mode, "Soma Mode")
-Spore Creatures. FEAR THE ALMIGHTY CHATBUBBLE! (Pic coming... later. It's a chatbubble. A grey one.)
-I've recently finished my first Hotel Dusk: Room 215 playthrough.
-Nintendogs: Best Friends. ME LOVE MAH LABRADOR TOBY!

-Wii Sports. I almost beat it 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
-Super Mario Galaxy. 15 stars 'till Luigi (#####ing garbage bombing star, you're too hard!)
-About to get Brawl, DBZ BT3 and Tabble Tennis. Wii games are expensive over here.

That's it. And it will 'till something else comes out. Which is the next relatively good DS game to come out?

P.D: HE'S NOT PLAYING IT.

NOT.

I've got to add two stuffs there.
First I'd like to say that I know there's a contradiciont on 2+2=7, but I didn't point it out 'cuz I had no evidence!
Then I'd like to say that I was playing DoS without cheats, unlike him. This was a conversation today.
-I can't stand how you use cheats on good games like this. It kills them.
-Oh, shut up, dumbass...
-*Rolleyes*
Oh, and I did play some T&T later, but I didn't have time to even finish the first chapter...

My friend and I once found a white DS Lite in a carrying case in the school parking lot. It was totally busted up, a car had obviously driven over it. However, the case was filled to the brim with tons of games, and every single one of them still worked.

It was a good day.

Abe, this is the first time I will admit to this: You were right about Too Human.

After having played a total of 9 hours of this piece of #####, I don't think I'll ever pick this piece of crap up again. After getting sidetracked by various games for the last month, I went back to playing Too Human for all of 15 minutes.

#####. This. #####.

You know, I just love not having the ability to regain health on a semi-regular basis.

I love the fact that unless you're a healer class, you won't get health except for a health/drop ratio, which WON'T #####ING HELP YOU IF YOU'RE ALREADY #####ING DEAD.

I love super-cheap enemies which immediately attack you once you respawn.

I love how your enemies can nail you from miles away, yet your weapons won't be effect until you get within range...usually 30 feet away.

I love that armor and weapons take damage every time you die, making it so the things that should be saving your ass won't be of any use to you after you've died for the 66th time.

##### you Silicon Knights for releasing this piece of #####, ##### you for even THINKING that we'd want to do multiple run-throughs just so we can get our guy up to Level 50. At this point, I doubt I'll ever #####ing piece of ##### ever again. It's terrible; it makes you want to rip your dick off. But then I realized that I like my dick where it is, so I'm done playing this crap.

At this point, I don't give a flying ##### if they ever finish this trilogy. I'd even go so far as to say that Jumper: Griffin's Story is a better game. At least THAT was entertaining, and I felt like I got my money's worth.

Past weekend I got a new mobile (LG Rumour, on Solo mobile) and there's a Street Fighter 2 demo on it.

...

But once I realized I could play it with the sideways thing--the phone has a slider panel with a full keyboard that comes out and you turn it all sideways (screen adjusts itself) for texting-it's actually not bad. I can only play as Ryu and I can only fight Guile but still. I almost want to buy the full version just for the kicks, but I doubt I'll ever play it.

I wonder if MM is available for the phone... I heard the cellphone one sucks and I'm sure it does but if the sideways view works for it, it could work out OK.

EDIT: Oooh eeeh oooh. I found they have MM2 and 3 for my phone... Like I said I heard they suck but... oooh eeeh. I donno what to do...

EDIT 2: Hm. Only MM3 is compatible with my phone. The one I want less, and the one that's more expensive. Uhffff.

Oh, yeah, speaking of phones. I forgot to report it here, but I got a brand new, very-nice Voyager.

It's pretty badass.

I had MM1 on my first phone (some odd midget half-sized chode-shaped gadget), and MM2 on my last phone (a really old hand-me-down Razr), and they both sucked big time.

On the Voyager or any similar style phone with a keyboard and sideways view, I'd imagine they'd be a LOT more playable and tons more fun, because the only real problem with them on my last two phones was that... well, they're impossible to play with the regular phone keypads.

I mean, it just DIDN'T work.

But I'm sure they'd both be perfect on the Voyager despite the obvious... "dumbed-down"-ness of them both compared to the originals.

It doesn't really matter if the controls work for the MM Cellphone games... because the games don't play like the originals, MegaMan jumps higher and moves faster... which makes it harder to maneuver... etc.

I think if Street Fighter 2 works OK on my phone (even though I just spam hadouken) then MM would be alright. I'd only have to play for a minute here or there, I wouldn't want to seriously play it like that.
