Well, I'm still playing MGS2.
It's not as good as MGS, but it's still fun.
Jeeze, Raiden and Rose have to be the most annoying video game couple I've ever come across. Rose is so unaware of the danger Raiden is in at the moment, jeeze, she's so selfish. Still it's kind of funny, like when she said "I don't want to be described as Jack's girlfriend," 'Cause I looked in the enclosed intruction book and it described Rose as 'Raiden's girlfriend', that made me smile.
Anyway, there's nothing more cool or ridiculous than Snake on a skateboard. I really wish I could find that rock version of the MGS main theme that plays during all that skateboarding foolishness.

Well, I finished MGS2.
So, now it's snake eating time.
MGS3, woooo...
I'm not too fond of the old timey feel, it's way different from MGS2 which is way different from MGS, which is what I was hoping it would actually be. It seems I'm just straying further and further from what I really want to play. MGS2 was still a good game and MGS3 is looking pretty good, I just wish they were more like MGS.
The biggest problem for me is that the D-pad no longer controls Snake normally, that makes me sad, on PS2 controllers I prefer using the D-pad, the control stick is in like... the way wrong place.

Did anybody get GTA IV? I want to try it but I don't have an XBox 360 and I refuse to get one for just one game, especially if I hadn't tried it. I remember hearing murmurs about it coming out for Wii but that was clearly bull##### since they restyled like everything gameplay-wise.

I need to finish San Andreas anyway, but I need a PS2 for that.

I've got a friend who is the most down-to-earth gamer I know, not a fanboy of anything, who got it and loved it. The guy plays everything from Smash Bros to Halo 3 to MegaMan ZX, so I usually trust him opinion.
He says it deserved the 10 it got from IGN.

Twilight Princess is the Zelda you guys are thinking of, I'm sure. But I don't think any LoZ got a perfect 10.

Twilight Princes, Ocarina of Time, and A Link to the Past are the real ones to praise. OoT is praised to be the best, so I wouldn't doubt it if they gave it a 10/10.

Twilight Princess got an 8 point-something on some game site (IGN?), and that feels wrong to me.

I got pretty damn bored with the GTA games a long time ago. I was pissed last week when X Play and Attack of the Show were reporting on JUST GTA more or less. Yes, it's an anticipated game, yes it's going to make thousands of people happy, but it doesn't mean you have to drown everyone in GTAness.

I'm a little irritated with the gaming industry now.

In any event- I dug out my Super Nintendo finally and have been enjoying playing Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, and this odd game called Demon's Crest.

The ones in Double Dash where every set of characters had their own special items (Mario and Luigi had Fire Balls, Yoshi and Birdo had Homing Eggs, etc).

BTW, got Mario Kart Wii. Haven't played it much due to me having to go to work soon, but what I have played of it is awsome.

Yeah, Jagex took away pking in the wilderness because they were #####ting themselves over real-world trading. Everyone calls December 10, 2007 (day of the update) "The Day Runescape was Ruined". Everyone misses pking in the wilderness sure, but most have gotten used to Bounty Hunter, which was supposed to be the wilderness replacement.  The way they do levels is awful... It's like lvls 3-68 can kill each other, lvls 64-112 can kill each other, 107+ can kill each other; it's just a mess where high lvls get easy kills.  In the end, you just gotta be those high lvls because "new pking" is unfair.  I'm a rune hybrid so I get around okay when people 74-85 come in the crater. By the way, Fist of Guthix = #####. Just an excuse to hype players up about a PvP minigame.

Ah. That. I didn't really enjoy Double Dash, and that was one of the reasons.

I never understood how people could stand it. Walking around really ticked me off. The graphics are terrible, getting around is terrible, and the fighting/magic is terrible. But I guess it is free, that and I've been sploiled by WoW and other such games.

#####, the most awesome thing happened this weekend. I found Star Wars Knights of the Republic at Game Stop for $10. Bought it, naturally, and now have been playing it. It's been a long time since I played though, so I'm a little rusty.

Here this though, I'm not a fan of Star Wars, I couldn't tell you a single thing about the series, but I really like this game.
