No kidding.  I want easy access to the Johto starters that doesn't require me having Emerald, thanks.

They should just make a game...

Start out in the original.
Fill out your pokedex, defeat the elite four...
Get your national pokedex... (or in this case SUB NATIONAL)

Start out in the Second reagon
Fill out your pokedex, Defeat the elete four...
Get the next pokedex

SO ON SO FOURTH.

I get the whole sales pitch of 2-3 different (VERSIONS) But I'm damned tired of buying a new game the next time Gamefreak decides they have made fifty or so new characters (or lack there of) to throw in.

I want to go through the entire world with my squirtle.

I don't mind "catching them all," but I don't want to be forced to use poorly created characters in my party.

I really think that instead of forcing out the newest and poorest quality of monsters, they should stick with what they have and lump it all together. There would be 99+ hours of game play. They could make it where you roam the entire map multilayer and encounter battles separately or together depending on range. They could even make it a local area MMO, based off of registered area codes, or 6 man rooms. They could work on post-elete 4 game play, and their never-cleaver mini games. They could work on character customization. They could re-define how everyone sees pokeman.

No.

They have to create about 100 new pokeman. Created by designers that I can tell quite frankly don't give a ##### anymore. take 50 of the characters from the previous games and throw them in for familiarity reasons. Sell a WHOLE NEW stratagy guide. Sell a whole new "National Pokedex" book. Then all they need to do is LAUGH... all the way to the #####ING BANK.

-.-

Then they start again.

Back on topic, I just finished Leaf Green... The 151 classic are still the best.

I've been playing Pokémon Diamond and God Hand. A few more runs through and I might attempt to start Hard Mode again for God Hand.

There was a remake of the first Pokemon game?! Damn I haven't been paying attention. I almost want to get it now, too.

If they remake GS that'd be the last Pokemon game I'd ever expect to be good enough to buy, I think. I was so into that game, I played it for the longest time. But I never finished playing Pearl, I got so bored of it.

I have heard of those games... but they were just names to me. I never put any sort of thought into what "FireRed" and "LeafGreen" as names would imply, much less looked them up for any sort of confirmation on what they were about.

Yeah, they are the originals.

Once you get your national in pearl, you can trade over the old school to you DS game... making Pearl so much more worth the time and money.

Both are very worthy of your purchase.

To be honest guys, Pokemon Ranger isn't that bad. I'd never BUY it, but it's alright for light play. And I'm someone who hates a lot of Pokemon after Gold/Silver. Although I have to say FireRed and LeafGreen are probably the best ideas they ever had, as the Advance games had a great new look and stuff like that but Red and Blue were the best Pokemon games ever.

I'm playing through SMT3:Nocturne for the first time. It's okay. The story is really slow, the gameplay seems no different from most other rpg's out there, and I honestly don't get how this game is suppose to be hard. It all seems pretty easy to me. All in all, I'd only reccomend buying this if you can find it cheap. It's definitely not worth the hundreds of dollars people want for it (I think some of the highest prices I've seen for it go into the $500 range). I was lucky when I went to buy it. I found it for $20 new.

It's okay, not everyone can immediately appreciate its awesomeness.

I decided to finally go about finishing up with Metroid Prime 3, after a six-month hiatus.

EDIT: Screw that, I'm playing Mega Man 1 on VC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111!1!1one

I've already completed Bomb Man through Elec Man, going to take on the impossible Ice Man stage after a break.

I liked Super Paper Mario up to Chapter 6.

Actually I started getting tired of it at Chapter 5. I haven't even played it since stopping at Chapter 6. I think I stopped as soon as I got Galaxy and forgot about it.

I have no intentions of ever playing it again, I should probably sell it...

God. I can't believe I bought TWO games on the Wii that I want to return. Mario Party 8 and Super Paper Mario. And yet I haven't returned MMX7 yet.

"Inafking" is stupid and sounds stupid, but yes. All 6 NES MegaMan games are absolute gems and near-perfect games despite the fact that the overall quality does vary a bit between them.

Inafking is what he called himself. >_>

Also, notice how the boss music cuts out when the boss' HP fills up? I like how in MegaMan 5, Capcom FINALLY switched the channel for the music and sound effects so that you can actually hear the music for once.

Also, I personally think the engine they used for MegaMan 1-6 was perfected at MegaMan 4.

I didn't like it much in MM4. I liked it more in MM5.

But, if there was one beef with the charge shot, it's the sound effect.

It gets slightly annoying. Makes you almost want to stop charging.

Now I'm going to play it again and probably get bored of it and quit a little ways into it.
After that I'm just going to twiddle my thumbs and wait for some of the great Wii games that'll be coming out later.

So I beat Megaman 7 the other day.

A wave of nostalgia mind blew me and remembered why it was my favourite in the series.

Then I played Megaman 8 and remembered why it wasn't as good.

I mean, what happened to the quality? Its not bad but it certainly isn't good.

Still have to (painfully) beat it and then I have to beat Megaman & Bass before I'm ready for Megaman 9.

Eh. I thought Mega Man 8 was fun. My only beef was it's too easy. Some of the stages aren't interesting enough (Frost Man, Sword Man, Astro Man, etc.), so that's another factor.
