Welp, just got Rock Band 2. Also Iron Man and Incredible Hulk.
Will be making my own MegaMan-style character eventually.
I hope you don't mean the Iron Man game, as it sucked balls. Seriously, I'm pretty sure there was a scene where Tony knelt down and slurped off Rhodey. Anyway, I just finished the first Kingdom Hearts. I really liked it. I'm aware my questions on the ending will be explained in the second game, and I'm eager to take that one on. But speaking of ball licking, two things; One - I'm really pleased that Donald and Goofy eventually became useful. Because I'm not gonna lie, until Donald gets healing magic you're pretty sure that the sounds him and Goofy make in battles is just them sucking each other off while you-Sora does all the work. At first they basically just die all the time and you don't care. And giving them items ever is a waste because they use them all. the. #####ing. time. But they stepped up and got brushed somewhere between Halloweentown and Hollow Bastion with some great. Two - Why the hell do they bother to shell out 20, 000 experience points for beating the final final final final final final final final boss? I said that eight times because there is basically 8 boss fights in a row with no save points amongst them. 20, 000 exp is, of course, more than enough exp to level everyone at least once or twice. And it shows you that they leveled. It gives you that little box saying what stuff went up. Actually, it gives you box on top of box on top of boxes they leveled so well. But then, you get your ending video, all epic and changing from play graphics to in-game cutscene graphics to cinematic graphics and it's all lovely. And then your credits, which you watch for the little extras that are like epilogues for minor characters, and then you get a real sort of epilogue for the main three characters. And then I'm all "Nice." And I wait. And then... a "The End" screen. Cool. I'm cool with that. It looks nice even though it's just the boxart. Yep. OK. Press X. Nope? O? ... Sq-square? Tri...angle... Start! Start is the key, of cour-No? What?! An ENDLESS end screen? I can't save? Why the ##### can't I save?! Some people call that an exaggeration, and others like pickles, but the point is that that is very weird. Very very weird. I just don't get it. I kind of want like, a little crown next to my save file there, or something. Something. And I want those levels, because while the final 8 boss fights weren't all hard-one of them kicked my ass around for like nearly an hour.

Yeah, no Guitar Hero: The Beatles.
That would be pure heaven. But it's never going to happen.
'No More Guitar Heroes' would be even more awesome. Annnnnnnd...I'm busy with MGS3 disc 2. I don't have the patience to finish Metal Gear. I'd like to finish it. But I'm just not really into the classic versions of games I love in their present form. I'm used to the way I was introduced to them first. I've beaten NES games (in this situation it's actually an MSX2 game) and I respect them as games. I love how 8-bit games look, I love 8-bit music as much as I love orchestrated symphonies, and hardcore guitar solos. It's just they're all from before my time and sometimes it's a bit frustrating to play a game that can't always point me in the right direction once in awhile. I'm not a baby who needs my hand held through everything, but I like some hints as what to do next. Classic 8-bit games are most excellent, but I just prefer games with a bit more. My first videogame related experience was really with an SNES. The first console I ever owned was the N64, and that's what really got me into gaming. So a lot of the time playing real classics feels a bit awkward. It makes me feel like less of a gamer to admit all this. Anyboo, yeah, I'm just trying to earn all the extra crap in MGS3. I just feel like going all completest on it. Speaking of which, I earned the Monkey Mask on disc 2. Does anyone know how I actually access it on disc 1? Do I have to start a new game? Beat the game again? I honestly don't know. Anyway, yeah, Special Duel mode is pretty fun. So I'm sure disc 2 as well as going back to disc 1 a bit will keep me busy until the 16th.

ARGH DAMN TED NUGENT We get near the end of our Guitar Duel and then even though the crowd loves me the most, he starts to rape me and instantly wins! And I can't win by having the bar go all the way to my side but he can! Talk about cheating...

It's my only DS game.... I'm REALLY on the fence about Brawl though, I never play it, and it's right now worth half of GH:WT. I have over 200 hours of play on GH3. I have about 50 on Brawl. I'll have at least 100 on WT by the time I get rid of it. I only play Brawl at parties any more, and that's only AFTER everyone is really tired of Rock band. Right now I'll need someone to give me a real good reason to keep it. All I need is $50. Posted on: November 02, 2008, 02:56:07 PM
What should I trade in out of these? Smash Bros. Brawl. $25 Twilight Princess. $15 GH3 $12 DS $20 MarioKart DS. $15
And now I have to consider selling all of it and getting the new guitar with it.

Well, don't sell GH3 because that's still more tracks to play. Unless you can export them into World Tour. I just realized that I have the option now of selling the original Rock Band since I don't NEED it anymore, since all the tracks have been exported off of it and work on "any future installments." I don't see what's fun or hard or remotely interesting about playing The Beatles' music.
GH Metallica had better have a better selection than the Aerosmith one.
The Beatles are a huge part of my life, I grew up listening to them, The Beach Boys, and The Rolling Stones since my parents gave me some of their CD's as a kid. So, in the case of The Beatles, it's really just the fact that they have such a vast library of quality songs, and such a diverse variety of them over the years, too. It's really just... I mean... man, it's THE BEATLES. And was the GH Aerosmith track list really not good? I love Aerosmith and almost got that. Metallica, on the other hand... well, I have what I believe is at least 60% of their discography on my computer left over from when someone ported over their entire music collection to my computer years ago, but I NEVER listen to them. Apparently they're not my cup of tea, but I can't figure out why.
