I'm excited to rent Saints Row and Fable, as well as the sequels.

But Banjo Kazooie comes first.

... And MM9...

I think you can download Fable from XBOX Live, under XBOX Originals. I mean, I dunno' if that's your style, but it's an option. That's how I got Psychonauts since I couldn't find it anywhere at all.

And yeah, that coconut fight with Grunty was REALLY quick for me, too. I think less than 4 seconds, I'll check. I didn't even realize what happened. I think it's just really easy to get lucky on that one.

...I found the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Text-Based Adventure game that Douglas Adams created with Infocom.

I've only played it for a little bit before, and I couldn't save. Oh, wow... this is great.

Here it is for download if anyone else is interested:

Yeah that site is all malware-y.

Also, remove the code, or put a return in it somewheres, it's stretching the page to helk.

Yeah, there was no stretching. JC just had his monitor set to like 640x480, or he was using a retarded browser.

But the main concern is the malware on that site.

Yeah, Firefox is flat-out terrible. And the ONLY reason I think that is because so many people love it and in my book, that's reason enough (if I happen to be playing the pretentious non-conformist twat style for the day.)

Added a little "WARNING JC SAYS MALWAAAAARE" notice thingy. Because I'm not picking up anything, but maybe he's right and I don't want to be responsible for destroying anyone's computer.

It's fine on my Firefox.

I used to hate it for the reason ASR hates it, but I dealt with that when Safari and Camino started sucking and I was used to tabbed browsing.

I'll try that game... when I finish all the books.

Anyhooo I just played the Call Of Duty 3 demo that's somehow already on my XBox 360. All I really have to say is; Jesus Christ.

The game is REALLY hard and I keep messing up. From what I've read about it before, though, it's supposedly WAAAAAAAAAY different than the books but with a #####load of references to it every which way.

Everything I've personally played though is pretty much spot-on to the beginning of the book with obvious differences for being a game. I can't solve the Babelfish puzzle, which I've heard terrible stories about, so I'm going to have to look at a walkthrough or something. The download came with one in a text file.

The game's an EXE file, yeah?

I won't be able to play it for a while anyway. Unless... XBox...

But nah, I don't have a keyboard for it.

Ha, yeah, it's one of those old-school DOS games. Of course it's an EXE, hehe. It's a really cool experience, and kind of funny that I just found it now since I've been doing the MMM TBA thing.

I've played a few before but never seriously and I think I actually really like these. It's gotta' be pretty simple to make your own and that's something I'd really like to do.

No I'll just rent it, 360 is backwards compatible, right?

I really just want to play the new one, but I figure I should play the first first. With Saint's Row the first one is necessary because 2 is a direct sequel, but I don't know about Fable II.

Most games are backwards compatible but not all. I'm 100% sure Fable is, though. Especially since they sell it as a download. It's probably just really random and obscure games that are left incompatible right now.

But yeah, never played Fable or Saints Row. Though I own Saint's Row.

The 360 with the 512MB internal hard drive is NOT backwards compatible.

So, go for it if you have the 20Gig or higher.

No worries, I got the 60GB. The XBox with the 512MB, while cheap, didn't seem worth it at all, since it would fill up in two shakes and I don't need XBox stuff cluttering up my external harddrive that is supposed to be for art and such.

I don't know if I want to wait and finish Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts before renting some of these games. Really, I should've finished Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows and MM9 on my Wii before starting Banjo.

I AM SO GOOD AT GUITAR HERO.

I can beat the vocals of over half the songs in the game on expert.
I haven't tried the others yet, but I bet I can beat them too.

I can also get 5 stars on multiple songs while singing on expert and playing guitar on expert.

It's really hard to hold a mic and play guitar hero at the same time.

All I've been playing lately is Brawl, City Folk, and DDR.
Oh! And Half-Life 2!
That makes me feel a bit better.
I still really need a 360...

I like it, but I didn't really need a 360. There are a few games I'd really like to try though.

I love when it crashes. I don't even mind.

Same here. Fifth level was a total bother but I loved it anyway.

I find it so funny that the title is that literal, and he's actually holding the entire world. Plus the game art is funnily wrong.

Desert Bus is a hilarious idea to me, but I'd actually like the rest of the Penn and Teller game to mess with friends.

The shoot-em-up where Player 1 is always winning sounds like a great prank.

HALLO THIS IS A STORY OF BANJO AND UM A KAZOOIE TYPE.

'There and back again, a bear's tale.'

Once upon some times, Banjo was mad stuck in a volcano.

Yep, real stuck.

But he was awesome so he had this awesome Behemoth MKI to use.
(The MKII is way better but uh let's ignore that for now.)

So um Banjo said "##### that."

And he decided to peace.

"Peace!"

"Real talk though; I hate you, volcano." said the Bandje.

And so the irredeemable bear set off on a coming of age journey.

But we're not gonna talk about that cos that's too long a story and this one is already long enough.

Let's just say; It was really #####ing off the wall balls hot.

Also, he fought the sun.

Believe it.

It was pretty awesome.

But after, he gave up on life because once you devour the sun what else is there?

So he fell.

And it was like kind of sort SPLOOSH!
(With a whale.)

And Banjo was saved.
(And he saw a whale.)

Yes, you are thinking what he's thinking.
(The whale is thinking about ketchup, but he knows nothing about what it could possibly be used for.)

"Break yourself fool!" said Ukulele.
(If the whale spoke english, it would have said "blurp blurp I'm a whale")

Oh and Kazooie was there, but she doesn't really matter these days.
(She also winched up the whale with the wrench. That's a lot of u's, most of which are double!)

They decided it was a good idea to carry the whale around in the air.
(The whale thought this was counter productive, but he's a whale anyway.)

The whale was too big.
(The ship was too small.)

Banjo and Kazooie (but mostly Banjo) got mad so they took the Behemoth MKI up and exacted revenga on the whale.

Perfect.

Delicious.

Revenga.

The moral of the story?

MO' MONEY, MO' PROBLEMS.

I feel obliged to comment for the amount of work that took.

The worst part was getting the images off the XBox and organized on my laptop. The site was acting weird plus it saved all the images with random names (numbers and letters seemingly random) into my OVERFULL default download folder. So finding the images and renaming them was also a pain.

The images just happened when I was playing, and accidentally got Banjo on that little island in the volcano without a ship. So I that was cool and decided to start taking pics of the ship. From there I just started to try stuff.

I want to take pictures of the Behemoth MKII, which I made today. It's better in every way, pretty much.
