Well durr it's old news, the run was completed like two and a half years ago.

I am obviously not JC but I've cracked 44 minutes start to finish

EDIT: That'd be for the 100% run of course. Minimalist I've done a 36-minute run but probably couldn't do it again on demand.

I'm sure everybody has seen that and knows what the record is, I mean.

I try to use everything I can, dash+shots, hi-jumping(which are barely in levels..) and C.Sting. I could shave a few minutes off eventually, when I think of some ideas.

There was talk on the forum of going Penguin-Eagle-Mammoth-Kuwanger-Chameleon-Mandrill-Armadillo-Penguin-Octopus-Armadillo-Fortress, but nobody ever tested it extensively and I'm not qualified to do so.

I never cared for going 100% really. Especially the hadoken, I refuse to use that, and if it's gonna effect my speed run score, so be it.

The order I go in is, Penguin-Eagle-Mammoth-Chameleon-Kuwanger-Mandrill-Armadillo-Octopus. I only manage to lose one heart tank, from Penguins stage. And I think that's pretty good..

I go Penguin Eagle Mammoth Mandrill Armadillo Octopus Kuwanger Chameleon

And I only have to go back into 2 levels to get the rest of the heart tanks or something.

My best time for a 100% run was about 55-ish?
That was with the Hadouken.

Started a game on Disgaea 3 today.

I normally dislike SRPGs, but this one seems really fun so far.

A guy lent me his PSP and Megaman Maverick Hunter X.

It was nothing compared to the original.
Not to mention, Storm Tornado is disgustingly overpowered.

I beat with X 100% in one sitting in an hour and 15 minutes.

All the dialogue was boring, too, so I skipped it.

Wario Land: Shake It.

No idea what's been said about it, but even though I love the previous Wario Land games, this one just doesn't feel right. It's got that treasure-grabbing, enemy-smashing feel to it, but there's just something annoying about it that makes the game less playable.

I'm pretty sure it's the missions. I dislike having to jump through hoops to feel like I completed a game. Maybe I'll skip over them, but I've been playing the game in short bursts anyway. At least the boss battles are still pretty decent, and some of the music is OK (so far).

I played that Wario Land game long enough to get past the final boss, then one or two secret levels. Before then I had all of the missions done.

A gumball? Only if it's one of those huge ones shaped like fruit.
That's like a whole day's worth of gum right there, man.

I can't seem to play it for much longer than an hour a day, and that's on a good day.
I'm sure you know how long those missions can take to complete, too.

Well... I tried to do them all at once if possible. Sometimes it blatantly wasn't, which was weird. I had this thing going where I'd get as much treasure as possible the first time around, so as not to worry about it in later runs. Made things go a bit faster. Though there were times when it took me a while to find that missing diamond or whatever.

I was also playing Theresia, which Rez recommended. Kind of shoddy.

I also wanted to pick up two Castlevania DS games but they're apparently not that easy to find after being out for a few years.

I don't think that's saying much. I can't think of any DS games that I'd describe as "gruesome" in the first place.

My signature now proclaims the games I'm currently playing.

Though I'm not sure if it's within boundaries of the rules...

Edit: Huh, could have sworn that there was specific rules regarding signatures. Ah, well.

Since RE5 is gonna come out next month (and it will probably suck!) I'm playing all the main Resident Evil games... on the GameCube, starting with RE0 and 1's remake.

Stopped playing 0 for a while, been playing RE1 way more... I had to start over twice, since I kept wasting ammo...

When I played RE2, I kept running out of ammo. And when I found ammo for the first gun you get, I loaded it, shot twice into the nothingness, and loaded it again so that I didn't use inventory space.
I really have to finish that game, sometime.

Well, the extra ammo is what the supply crates are for anyway.

Although that's my problem now in RE though... I have no space for a key I need, have no idea where a crate is, and the only ammo I can waste to free up space is Handgun ammo... and the worst part is... I have 160 bullets.

Not good.

EDIT: And then 30 seconds later I find the save room.

I've been playing not so great room escape flash games. Some have been awful, some were annoying.

The Submachine series is pretty interesting since there's like six of them (one continuous story too) and I reccomend you look them up if you're into those games, but the last few are kind of annoying because it's a lot of backtracking and they make the things really big. They're not so much "escape the room" as they are "escape" games.

Man. For the past few days I've been on Mario Kart DS, and I'm amazed at how I've improved. I used to pull my hair out over getting so much as a 1 star rank in each cup, but I've just reached a full 3-star rank in everything. Interesting how it went so smoothly.

Or you could not be suck-ass and know what I'm talking about. How many games are out there are on their fourth sequel, and have the abbreviation SF? Two, Street Fighter 4, and Shut the hell up, Nova.

You honestly had to outright tell me that it was Street Fighter before I got it, but I skimmed the post anyway so I wouldn't have mentioned it if this didn't happen.

Context helps, but in this case, not a hell of a lot unless you're paying attention to upcoming games, and some of us actually aren't.

Even if it's roman numerals, it's still the goddamn same number. Besides, it's Street Fighter 4, if you haven't been paying attention enough to know that's coming out, then you probably don't pay attention to anything.

I mean. It's Street Fighter for god sakes!

And WIND? Calm.

Honestly, the only reason I probably couldn't tell the difference is the fact that I really don't care about either Street Fighter OR Star Force. I really couldn't care less. Don't even care enough to figure out that there may or may not be a Star Force 4 on a MegaMan forum, even though I'm pretty sure there isn't, but I still wouldn't think hard enough on the subject for it to make a difference.

All I'm criticizing is the lack of context you posted in, but I AM sure that anyone knowledgeable enough about one or the other would figure it out. So we're good.

The main indication is probably that even ASR stumbled over it, but he did get it. It's not even about roman numerals. Just typing it out would prevent stuff like that, is all I'm saying.
