I played Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts today for the first time in ages.

I tried to make a flying motorcycle, then remembered you can't make anything that remotely looks like a motorcycle in the game.

I'm going to pick up Metroid Trilogy next trip uptown.

And Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box.

And that's it until whenever the next big Nintendo game comes out... either Mario & Luigi 3 or Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

Isn't the next big Nintendo game the New Super Mario Bros. Wii game? I thought that was coming out fairly soon.

For whatever reason, I thought New Super Mario Bros. Wii was coming out in September... but now it just says Q4 2009. So, I mean, that could still be September, but I'm getting the feeling that it'll be a little later on.

The only game I know I'm buying anytime soon is The Beatles Rock Band.

I don't know enough about it to say that, I just don't understand the graphical downgrade if it's a GTAIV expansion. When I first saw the commercial at the movies, I thought this was for PS2 or something.

Super Mario World.

I had intended to beat it 100% start to finish in a single sitting, but work and marching band got the hold of me.  Did it all in two days, and I must say that nostalgia hits hard when you sit down to play a classic such as this.

AND it was on the original SNES system, mind you.

GTA4's engine got really outdated really fast.

GTA IV's engine is great, but the content is lacking. Since this is the last expansion, they'll probably make the next GTA based in Vice City or a new place or whatever. I want them to bring back the stats and stuff. And the customization. I don't want just jackets and pants. I want some diversity.

And planes.

I would like SC2, but instead I got a cheap SC3 instead. Thing is though, regardless of the fact that people tell me it's crap or not, I don't play it. Too busy with other things and I don't feel like unlocking anything.

The first Soul Calibur is... Eh.

I don't see what's bad about SC3 at all. It's not as good as SC2, gameplay-wise, but otherwise it's fine and the custom character thing was really well done, the only problem was you had to unlock all the stuff in the creator. But it was cool because unlocking isn't even close to challenging and there's tons of stuff to unlock.

 I haven't played SC4 but I definitely cared less about it existing, and have no desire to try it though I probably will eventually.

I mean, seriously. Had they just released SC5 yesterday and I heard about it, for a couple of seconds I would be baffled.

I was baffled when I heard about Guitar Hero 5, but that's slightly irrelevant because technically there wasn't a "GH4".

I have Soul Calibur 4.
It plays MUCH more like 2, and has a way better customization system than 3.
Such as: The custom Characters use movesets of the main characters in the game, so they aren't nerfed.

Not to mention, depending on what the character wears, they have different abilities that are unlocked the more you play as each character.
For instance, Cervantes types can turn invisible.
This is only in 'special vs.' btw.

Uh, you can use movesets of the characters in the game in SC3.

For instance, a character can use the nun-chucks moveset or the "Soul Of Maxi" moveset, which gives them the nun-chucks moves that Maxi uses.

Also, the different classes has different abilities in SC3, and use certain kinds of weapons. Like, ninjas have a move where they disappear in smoke  and reappear in the air and launch a bunch of shuriken. There's also some kind of dark/light thing with what the characters wear but I was never sure what that was for.
