Sano, it has it's moments and this was relevant to the discussion.

I don't. Bob & George is on the internet.

... OK. I found it funny at times, but that's besides the point. It really started to suck when the author decided to add a plot. A plot which was confusing and retarded considering the Mega Man games.

Thank God it ended. The ending was pure #####.

EDIT: I only really like the comedy portion of VGCats. Not the anime spoofs.

Not all VGCats comics are funny, but the majority of them are, especially if you know the game/show they're mocking. You can't take that away from them.

Pretty good but not as good as F-Zero. I have only played F-Zero GX like about an inch so I can't compare it to either of them but it seemed pretty nice. It felt like an upgrade of F-Zero X more than F-Zero if I recall correctly. But that's fine 'cause F-Zero X was good anyway.

I have F-Zero X on the VC, it's lots of fun. I was never able to get it back when it was on N64. I personally like it just as much as the original.

I just found my old DKC player's guides and they convinced me to replay them on the VC. I already had DKC1 & 2 downloaded with an intent to replay them, but I managed to get myself distracted and haven't had to time to do so.
A bonus goodie from the player's guide:

I'm still unsure about it. If it's not great, I don't want to waste my points.

Also, I'm playing F-Zero X. This game is awesome!

I know he's trying to say "Alright! You're great!" whenever I get first, but it kinda sounds like he's saying "Alright! You're pretty!"

Don't waste your points on Sin & Punishment. The game is very messy and short, too crazy and you never really know what's going on... and it's really not all THAT fun anyway.

It was OK for a very messy and short, too crazy and you never really know what's going on type of game. >_>

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend it unless you like rail shooters.

I thought it was pretty good, I'd have to say I thought it was the best game of the Virtual Console, due to the fact that it's one of the first games on the Virtual Console that I've never played. I still think it's pretty good.

Thanks for the unlock Abe.

With the release of Megaman 1 failed, I would like to spend some wii points.
What is the BEST choice for 500 point games?
I have a small poll, give me more options if they arise.

I can't give an opinion on the other two, but I have Castlevania on VC and it's great. Personally I prefer Castlevania IV over it, but you're not in the 800-point market anyway so whatever.

Alternate suggestion: do you have SMB3 yet?

I'll have 500 left over after MM1.
This is why I want to buy a game now.

For whatever reason, I always seem to get a Game Over on World 8-4. I think I actually beat the game only once.

#####ing Hammer Bros. and hammer throwing Bowser.

I did play through on the Coin Bird modification of SMB1 and got to like the second or third last world and then lost my last life. Was really annoying because I don't remember ever finishing the game even though I probably did, plus I wanted to see what the Coin Bird version's Peach would look like.

If you can keep a power up for 8-4 you can just run right through Bowser, shrinking if hit, rather than use any skill against him...

Cheap, but effective.

As a kid I always died somewhere at World 8, but the last 3 times I played it, I beat it in one sitting. I usually try to do what Abe just mentioned.

As for The Lost Levels... ugh. I'm still at World 6. Still trying. Haven't played in about a week, but I'll definitely finish it.

John, you should get The Lost Levels. Whatever, I mean Super Mario Bros 2 JAPANNNN. Whatever the cool kids are calling it. I call it Lost Levels because I had All-Stars on SNES.
