I made my avatar yesterday and touched it up today. I'm really rusty with spriting, let alone spriting from scratch.

It does, just making sure no one takes credit for my ripping, at one point or another, it was a pain.

I just put that there to send into The Spriters Resource.

Took me a while to understand that..  ???

I'll fix that along with the sprite arrangement, it has too many blank spaces open.

When I first saw it, it took me a second to get it.

Eitherway, that's retarded. It really isn't "gay", because that "c" would have to be positioned higher, and even then, it'd just be a retarded number nine.

Wind: I'd say the hair has good bounce but if the body has a black outline and the hair doesn't it tends to look weird. Plus the hair isnt saturated enough.

Nova: The colors look good since it would fit in with the games, but those two blue lines create a strange angled shape on his chest, unless you wanted it like that but it'd still look weird. His tri-pointed gold thing on his head is shaded so it looks round, i'm guessing you actually wanted it pointy, you shouldn't have the shading trace around the outline like that or else it'll look too soft.

It looks more pointy so I'd say the curve looks fine, though personally to me it'd look good with or without it.

I did an example since I'm bad words, hope you don't mind. The dark brown on the skin you could just have it replaced with the dark parts of the gold parts to save colors, or you could keep it and also use the dark brown parts to help add a darker outline for the gold parts, hope this isn't confusing.

On the example I used the dark brown parts of his skin to help define the gold parts, and made his gold head piece's shading more flat isntead of it moving towards the center. My edit is the one on the right.

I did these some days ago, after finishing Apollo Justice. It's a defense attorney of some sorts I wanted to do in Apollo Justice sprite style. If you're wondering about his hair that's his Ace Attorney hair. I'm already planning to re do various parts of this sprite as it needs more colors to fit in with the sprite style but I'll just show this for now since I've worked a long time on it. The sprite is made from scratch.

WHOA. Nice one.

Yeah, it seems like he ran into that problem where when you draw a hand, you try to make it too life-like and it ends up looking like crap..

...what? I'm the only one with that problem? OH #####OFF

Yeah. It just seems out of place. Speaking of hands, some guy dislocated his elbow when breaking his fall on some cement stairs.

Back to subject at hand. I like the hair, that's original. And the suit isn't isn't a cheery color, like bright red or navy blue, like the other Ace Attorney's clothes. I've always found black and other dark colors attractive.

Haha, I was hoping no one would notice that. I was looking at my hand from a side view and used that as reference, then just felt like showing the other fingers and stuff. If I ever re-edit this sprite the hand would be the first thing to fix. (next to moving the shoulder closer to the body)

edit: Thanks The Otaku, though personally I thought that the whole color scheme was too monotonous so I just added the hair leaflet and tie design to give him more character.

I have absolutely never been good at 32-bit MMX, but I wanted to do one for Tirade, so here:

The unarmored one is rushed as all hell, and it bugs me that I couldn't add a lot of the detail, but oh well.

Style looks like across between 32bit Classic and 32bit X.

And yeah, the armoured one is a lot better than the clothed one.

I should at least redo the legs on the clothed one. Hm.

I kind of see what you mean. I'm trying to make the armor less big and clunky while still the same style, so that's why.

Like Chron said it looks better, and the darker shade for the shirt is good too since the first sprite needed that.

Only thing I find strange is the shading on the shoes, and on her left leg the dark blue at the end of her pants bleeds in with the black of her left shoe and makes it look bigger than her other shoe. I think you should lighten the dark blue. EDIT: posted example picture to show you the area that I meant.
