Ghosts I-IV

Nine Inch Nails - Angst - Vocals = Ghosts I-IV

This may be the best release they've come out with in... well... a long, long time.

For once, this actually sounds like music made by someone who's 42, as opposed to pandering subject matter that seems insincere coming from someone his age.

Either way, go download. It's free.

Disturbed, Linkin Park,  Billy Talent, Random stuff from Newgrounds, More Random stuff (DDR and Stepmania), MANY Remixes of megaman songs and other game music.

Forgive me, but I'm too lazy to come up with examples for all of them

Can anybody perhaps help me find a link leading to or the actual Big Blue mp3 from F-Zero GX? Not the original theme, but the one available only on GX.

Here's a sample of the artists I have enjoyed since I have been out getting groceries:

- RJD2 ("Beyond the Beyond")
- Justice (ANYTHING by them)
- Wale ("Bump" and "W.A.L.E.D.A.N.C.E.")
- The Honorary Title ("Stuck at Sea")
- Boards of Canada  ("Dayvan Cowboy")
- Dilated Peoples ("Worst Comes To Worst")
- Hifana ("Fresh Push Breakin'")
- Brand New ("Seventy Times 7")

Some of the songs are kinda old, but I still really like them.  And I think you would too.

For some reason I've been into jazz/funk as of late. I've pulled out the two Blue Submarine No. 6 soundtracks, Trigun: Spicy Stewed Donut (a compilation of the two Trigun soundtracks), a compilation CD called "A Jazz Selection Inspired by the Golgo 13 Manga" which is pretty tight (best part is that one or two of the songs is actually a live recording), and something my roommate burned me called "Soul Brother #3 Mix".

The Golgo 13 disc has:

Miles Davis "Airegin"
Miles Davis "'Round About Midnight"
Wes Montgomery "S.O.S."
Wynton Kelly "Dark Eyes"
Sonny Rollins "You Don't Know What Love Is"
Nat Adderley "Work Song"
Latin Jazz Quintet "Milestones"
Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers "Caravan"
Wes Montgomery "Four on Six"
Bobby Timmons "Moanin'"
Red Garland "St. James Infirmary"
Miles Davis "Woody'n You"
Bill Evans "Israel"

Soul Brother #3 Mix has:
Al Foster Band "Night of the Wolf"
Aromadozeski Therapy "Strudel Strut"
Babe Ruth "The Mexican"
Badder Than Evil "Hot Wheels (The Chase)"
De Wolfe Music Librairie "Causeway"
Dennis Coffey "Black Belt Jones"
Eddie Kendricks "Date with the Rain"
Greyboy Allstars "Freestylin'"
Incredible Bongo Band "Apache"
Jackson 5 "Life of the Party"
John Daves & The Monster Orchestra "The Magic Is You"
MFSB "Family Affair"
Nina Simone "Funkier Than A Mosquitos Tweet"
Soho "Hot Music"
Pigbag "Papa's Got a Brand New P"
Yellow Sunshine "Yellow Sunshine"

I didn't read it until now.

Ha. Ha ha.

Is there actually any pre-Beatles recordings of their stuff? I've never heard any of it unless it was thrown on those "Anthology" sets.

I've tried super hard, and I can't find it. They were just a bunch of poor kids with instruments.

I've been listening to the new R.E.M. cd. Anyone else listened to it? I personally think that it's pretty good. Man Shaped Wreath, Redhead Walking and Supernatural Supersticious are my favorite songs off the album.

What's the album called, Same #####, Different Day?

Honestly, the single I heard from it was REM by numbers.

Time to hang it up, methinks.

I'm listening to a punk comp that I found in a used bookstore in London. The album is called "Totally Punk", which reminds me of those rock compilations that you see being sold on TV at 3 in the morning.

Right now I'm really digging The Damned "Neat Neat Neat (Live)" and Sham 69 "Hurry Up Harry".

I suppose, it probably should be their last album. It lacks the R.E.M. ness that they used to have. It's starting to sound too mainstream. While a couple of songs are good, I agree, the new album isn't nearly as good as their old stuff.
