Post count doesn't really mean you're cool. It just means you have a big mouth fast fingers.

I'm okay with how much time I spend here because it's basically just me leaving MMM up in a tab while I'm doing practically anything on the computer. It's not like it's all I'm doing.

Same here.

And really, I only come for a little bit at a time, mutliple times a day. In between doing stuff. So that just means there's always new posts.

Instead of like, say, if you came on once a day but for a really long time. There would be less new posts, in a sense.

Yeah, I noticed, most songs don't have that Offspring gusto in them. I've also been too busy paying too much attention to You're Gonna Go Far, Kid, which is probably the best song.

I don't know what made me do this, but I downloaded a song I heard off the radio when I woke up. Never Again - The Midway State, it's totally not my sort of song, but the instrumental is excellent.

MRadio.
Have no clue what song it is.

Now it's a MM9 song, and I completely forget which stage it is.
I want to say Splash Woman.

I also like The Beatles.

I also like The Prodigy and their new album "Invaders Must Die" dropped in North America today and though I could've had it downloaded ages ago I only got the free singles ("Invaders Must Die" single free off the official site, and "Omen" off UK Radio 1 or something) and waited until now for... effect or sommat.

I didn't know but it came with a DVD too, so I'm about to pop that in while the CD imports. I'm really excited but really tired so we'll see.

Also, I'm going to see The Prodigy in Toronto in like four weeks and I want to time travel there because I don't want to wait at all.

Particularly the more Irish stuff.

Due to some remix browsing, I have the beat from the Match BGM of "Punch-Out!!" stuck in my head.

It's nice.

Specifically, these songs are what did it.

The latter song is done by Game Over, which has lyrics. I like the group, and they did a Top Man mix called "Cataclysmic Clash" if anyone's interested.

Oh, just a note, I decided a long time ago that Mikero had a stage theme it would "Phantom Pt. II" by Justice.

I also thought of some for other characters of mine but I'm not bothering to remember right not since they're written down in my sketch book anyway.

You should seek out the Mega-CD versions of the tunes from Monkey 1 because they are divine.

Not sure if you mean this or what (I can't find anything that explicitly says Sega/Mega-CD, but it's supposedly redbook audio). Sounds good, but I think it's redbook and not actually synth... well, it is recorded synth at the very least.

INSANE BEATLES BINGE.

MEDITATIVE.

THE ENTIRE LIBRARY ON SHUFFLE.

MAX-VOLUME, YOU CAN HEAR IT ALL ACROSS THE FLOOR.

AND NOBODY CAN COMPLAIN BECAUSE IT'S THE BEATLES.

This is what happens if I don't have plans on a Friday night. I kind of like it. It should happen more often.

Michale Graves - We Are The Wicked

It's an old instrumental demo of a Misfits song, he added lyrics and vocals to it now that he's doin' his own thing. Needless to say, it's wicked.

Hey, I was curious all of a sudden:

I know that most of us here were born in the 80s, and was wondering if anyone else got nostalgic comfort (or discomfort) from either music from the 80s, or from more recent music done in a specifically 80s style.

I should probably specify that even though mine is largely based around synthpop and synthrock, I'm not specifically referring to those, as there were other definite styles around in the 80s.

I figured this was an appropriate topic for this.

No strong opinion one way or another on '80s pop in general. Some of it is absolutely brilliant (U2), some of it is absolute ##### (punk).

I didn't know punk was a "four-letter word," there.

Seriously, though, shut your mouth. Late 70s and 80s punk was kick-ass.

I GUESS THAT MEANS ALL PUNK BAND SUCK, YUP.

There are #####ty punk bands, and then there are the great ones. Never liked the Sex Pistols, but the greats like Bad Religion, Circle Jerks and even The Misfits proved that all of Punk didn't suck.
