That's really great. I love that cool, cold, calming, but active jive it's got going on.

I've been having fun with the BACKSTREET BOYS lately.

I must admit I'd never heard folk music mixed with trance before. I highly doubt most such mixes are nearly as good as that one though.

I haven't heard too many of them, but it's a style of music I've always liked.

In a way it's like linking two separate times together in harmony; trance is good for fusing with classical and other genres.

I've been listening to quite a bit of Bill Eager's music as of late, primarily this song.

Seriously guys, Backstreet Boys.

It's purely nostalgia-earmuffs entertainment, but Larger Than Life?... I Want It That Way?... Backstreet's Back?

Come on. Awesome.

Nice. I'm not a fan of vocals, but it's really good regardless.

Nice.

Good to relax to.

I like it at first, but then as it goes on... argh.

I'm a sucker for string instruments, though.

I'd be on board if you mentioned songs that were from their first album. But I guess those ones are OK too.

I don't think I posted this before, but if I did, it was definitely before the MBoard was reset. So I guess it's worth posting again.

Centre of the Universe

Because... because Kamelot.

I think this is the most emotionally moving of any fast-paced song I've heard. If you don't agree, though, I do welcome you to show me one better! And that's not a challenge. It's a welcome.

OK OK OK.

I'm looking for a new set of Home style headphones. These are the ones I'm looking for;

Panasonic RP-HTX7. I want them in white.

I've only read good reviews and I'm SO into the retro look of them. And they're pretty inexpensive it seems.

Problem is, I just can't really FIND them. Best Buy, Future Shop, and Wal-Mart websites don't have them, and those are probably my best chances at finding them. Some Google results had forums where people said they'd gotten them at those places so I'm gonna have to actually go look (which sucks 'cause I'm on my way out anyway but stores are surely closed by now).

If anyone's seen 'em anywhere or has an idea where I could get them (short of ordering online, since that's my last chance option) I'd appreciate the help.

Next time I'm at Best Buy I'll check if they have 'em, not that that'll help you much. Just means they might have them at your Best Buy.

If it helps, I've noticed a LOT of inconsistencies with Best Buy's website catalogue and what they actually sell in the stores. There's even a feature where you can check if your store HAS the item listed online, and that's almost always been wrong for me. It'll say it's out of stock, and I get there and they have like 10 of 'em, or it'll say they have plenty but there's nothing when I get there. At least, this is from me dealing with random DVD's.

Yeah on the Best Buy Canada site there's no point bothering to use the search function. Everything you search comes up with no entries no matter what.

The Future Shop site is just a clone of the Best Buy site, except the search function works a tick more.

#####ing hell those headphones are hot.

My brother is REALLY into headphones, which, I mean, I don't really get, but I can kind of understand. Like, I'll listen to some music with them and it REALLY is incredible quality. He also uses them for XBOX Live so that's cool for him, I guess.

I'm fine with any old earbuds as long as they're comfy and don't bother my ears.

These are the ones he has right now.

Your headphones are hot, Mike. Do you know if they're noise cancelling?

I've been on a quest for epic headphones for years. Well, a quest like in an rpg , i.e. it's supposed to be your main focus, but then you get involved with side quests until you forget about your mission objective.

It's also kind of gone by the wayside since my computer crashed (all my music's on there).

I'm really sure they're not noise cancelling.

I went on a mission to find them today. Best Buy and a couple Future Shops turned up empty. I can special order them from an Audiotronic store but it'll take 5 to 6 weeks and I'm pretty sure I could get them cheaper online. Mission parameters changed at Wal-Mart. They weren't there, but I ended up buying Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2, The Boondock Saints, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles season one on DVD.

Side-quests, yeah.

Anyway I'm probably gonna have to get these online, which I hate because I don't have my own credit card and already owe some scrill to my mom (I could pay her back any time, it's just a matter of actually doing it).

Same here.

Also happened to find a physical copy of the studio version of On an Island by David Gilmour (you'd think it would have been easier to find, being only a couple years old, but noooo I'd been hunting it down for almost a year).

Already knew it would be good from the live version I already had, but still it impressed me. Gilmour's always been my favourite guitarist and among my favourite musicians, and he did not let me down.

I downloaded the instrumental from Duane & Brando's MegaMan 2 rap song. It's completely amazing, it belongs in an arrange sound track.

If anybody wants it just ask.

It's gooood~

Today I got the album The String Quartet Tribute to Bad Religion. It's a bunch of covers of BR songs, but done completely in violin, and it sounds amaaaaazing. I'm not a big fan of classical music, but this was just fantastic.

That reminds me: I've been brewing up the idea of an orchestral version of Rush's Tom Sawyer.

I seriously want to know if/how it would work.
