From what I've seen, it'll be worth getting, but I'm still not entirely sure.
The fact that the overworld has no real function besides going place to place kind of ruins it, I wanted a crap ton of fun little distracting side missions or 'collect all of these for a prize' types of things.

Not to mention it's called Santa Destroy.
I'm still definately gonna buy it, but I don't expect to keep it for too long, so if somebody talks to me in a month or two-- once I've beaten it, I might sell it to ya cheap.

Basically, it's GTA for the Wii with assassins instead of gangs, and laser swords instead of guns.
I'm pumped for it, it's cell shaded (which I'm not a HUGE fan of, but it works for the wii), it's free roaming, and overall looks like a solid action title for the Wii, to be released in February.

Unless my computer magically starts working again, I will no longer be getting this game.

My current priority is getting a nice cheap computer that will run well.

I need to get it before Brawl, and I'll need another 50 FOR Brawl.

Bah, today NMH was distributed, it'll be on sale tomorrow. I felt stupid waiting at School for it all day just to be told it'll be out tomorrow, and then to be questioned if I was really 17 or not.

Even more review scores, this time from magazines:

EDGE (who are notorious for harsh reviews) gave it 9/10, same with GamePro (and some obscure magazine). Gametrailers gives it a 8.2 and Ngamer gives it 9.4.

Well, I just spent 3 hours playing NMH. Better than I expected. T-Shirts kick ass. There's actually a reason to the overworld map other than to get from place to place, lots of secrets to find. Dialogue and voice acting are great. Controls are easy once you get the hang of it. Boss fights kick so much ass. The slot machine thing kicks ass, transforming into the alternate modes of Travis is way too fun, seriously, get all BAR and you'll ##### yourself. Yeah, I'd go on about it more, but I haven't gone too far in yet. I might have all day to play it tomorrow since roads might freeze. I'll make an in-depth review once I finish the game. Oh yeah, there's actually more than one song in the game.

The thing about censors is you don't immediately know which word was used unless you guess right the first time. It provides an amusing short-lived margin of misinterpretation.

I'm checking the electronics section of the nearest store tomorrow, because it's decent walking distance. If it's not there I can wait on it because I just got two other games.

'Kay, I just finished No More Heroes. Way too epic. I'll type out a big review this weekend, right now I need some sleep. 'Kay, so while I'm sleeping everyone else go out and buy it.

Do it now. Make sure to not read any spoilers before playing, it makes the game so much better. Also, manage your LB Dollars well, make sure to focus on paying the entrance fees first and only then should you spend some money on other things.

I must say, the collision detection with passing cars is pretty cruddy.

Oh, and I'm playing on Mild to start with. I hate it when things are too easy and I doubt I'm going to play through a second time.

Yeah, I know the collision detection is terrible, but that's about the only problem.
Yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm just not going to finish it the second time, it's just gotten boring and tedious.
Also, it looks to me like there isn't any difference between Clear Mode after the ending and Clear Mode after the real ending.

Is it just me, or does that guitar chord played at each loading screen sound almost identical to the first chord in "Live and Learn" for Sonic Adventure 2? Like, Live and Learn has been stuck in my head all day and I only just now listened to it to compare.

No, it gets tedious after about 17 hours, but those first 17 hours are one wild ride.

I really don't like any of the overworld stuff, and the motorcycle drives like #####.

However, the gameplay, combat, and style is freakin' awesome. It's a VERY fresh experience.

Yeah, the overworld is lame, we all know. The combat is where it's at. Just wait till you upgrade and get a better Beam Katana, pretty soon you'll be killing at least three enemies in one slash, but only if they're close by when you land a finishing blow.

Yeah, I'm thinkin' it's a great game and should be more than just a rental, but it might as well just be a rental. 'Cause it's great, but after you play through it once it really turns into a meh experience, I mean it's still fun to play, but you just don't really want to play it as much.
