Game would have revolved about "Hacking" and Geo being a criminal of some kind.  And the LOL SO EDGEY dude is actually a descendant of Lan Hakari.

cool idea bringing a descendant of Lan into the series, him being related to Lan could make it so that players could trust him even if he did some questionable things in the story, what would also be cool is is they brought back the power ups from previous games (unless there was a story reason not to) kind of like what x5 and x6 did by letting you keep the previous armours

It took the best parts of Battle Network and made them worse.  Then added in ##### that was worse than BN to begin with.  It was inferior to BN in every way.

I think I played Star Force 1 one time and was appalled at the dialog quality.  Shame because BN had been so good.

They ruined the combat of BN too with the 3D behind the back grid with less space than BN system they used.  BN had a really decent combat system.

Having not played Star Force, I can't really tell what the difference is here. SF always looked overdesigned and trite.

I don't think it did, can't speak for others but I personally didn't like that switch at all.
